The photos turned out great, and the staff was clearly having a good time working in the office and watching our photo shoot. The studio is simple and is located in the Arts Building in Concord, and I would definitely recommend this place if people needed portraits or wedding photography; they are just a delight and clearly love their craft. Also, they do a lot of bar/bat mitzvahs, so if anyone has a big party, these guys can handle the photography!

When I submitted the tape to be digitised, they conducted a technical assessment, quoted a price. However, they sent the quote to the wrong email address!, causing more than two weeks of unnecessary delays. On top of that, they didn't recogniz during the assessment that they lacked the technical capability to handle the job to start with!. Instead, they proceeded anyway and requested full charge which I paid, wasting my time and money. If you can't manage something as basic as sending an email to the correct address or properly identifying your technical limitations, you shouldn't be operating in this industry. Because of this incompetence and delays, I lost the chance to work with a more professional company. My only month in the country has been wasted because of this situation. This is clearly a basic shop for simple tasks, not a professional service provider.

The records were mostly of piano music, so the music came out as v..e..r..y s...l...o...w and low-pitched because they were played at too slow of a speed. Another shop told me that in addition to speed differences, the 78 records should be played with a different type of cartridge than 33/45 records, so it would appear they didn't do that either. I'm familiar enough with computers to correct the speed in software, but it took a few hours of work, which I wasn't super happy to have needed to do. UPDATE: Increased rating from 2 to 3 stars - they kindly offered to refund the charge.

All of our vendors were treated extremely poorly by the staff, they were very unwelcoming to myself and my groom and were disinterested in actually helping us with any requests, even something as simple as dimming the lights during the reception. Ordinarily, it costs $7 for adult admission. I am accounting for this fact in the review because the other 364 days of the year are not free. I have no problem paying to get into a museum, but again, it is not a question of costs, but rather one of value. The museum is one small room, the hall with the main desk (with a few photos around), and a larger, much more open hall about the size of a large chapel, or really small church. Suffice it to say, unless you wish to carefully examine all the works, the museum can be viewed in under 45 minutes (and even that is pushing it) I am a fan of photography, and I would love to see the always changing displays in this museum. However, my concern returns to the fact that for a tiny room, a large room, and a few paintings in the area with ticket desk costs $7. However, if you are a die-hard photography fan, they have some books, and some really old camera equipment you can look at and purchase (I don't know if old cameras are for sale).
