This is a really cool park near Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and Target around Upper St. Clair that I…read morelike to stop at whenever I'm in the area. The trail is great for beginners or if you just want a quick jog. There are several benches you can sit down on along the way, plus a tree stump in the woodsy part that you can also sit on to rest. It's a very well maintained trail that smells like freshly cut wood chips, and has a nice variety of terrain. I didn't see any dog poop (it's a no-dog park) and no litter at all, which the multiple trash cans around the loop definitely help with. While a good portion of the trail has the wood chips, some areas could use a bit more. After rain, a few spots can get muddy and it can get a little marshy in the grassy part where there is no trail. The outer loop is about 1.2 miles, and there are several spots where the trail branches off. There's a more "woody" section and a more "grassland" section, which keeps it interesting. It's also not hard to find parking at the church across the street. There's a lot of birds chirping and tons of squirrels and bunnies, and every once in a while you'll spot deer. Inside the barn fence there are lambs and sometimes horses, which is a nice touch. Also kind of cool is that there are wild chive plants around this trail which is common in the Pittsburgh area, and you'll find some growing in the park if you know what to look for.

This place is incredible. We stopped today for their Community Open House event, and even though I…read morehave been here in the past, it is always nice getting to see it again. The old house, and farm are really special, and I am so glad that the Upper St. Clair Historical Society maintains these buildings and property so we can occasionally get to visit and see how things used to be. Today they had all kinds of activities going on, from hayrides, petting zoo, sheep shearing, cow milking, yarn spinning, beekeeping, and of course tours of the historic house, barn and outbuildings, all of which are like a museum. This place was well worth the price of admission . . . FREE, but the suggested donation was $5 per person.

After reviewing several different options, we selected Drew Nelson Photography for our September wedding. Drew did a fantastic job. He was quick to respond to our emails/phone calls and knew what we were looking for without us having to ask. We felt like he was part of our wedding, not just a "wedding vendor." He has a creative perspective and an eye for the right angle. Prior to the big day, Drew asked us what we were looking for - from Polaroid to Pinterest. He was able to capture our big day without being a highly visible photographer (nothing is worse than having a photographer up in your face on your big day). For those on a tight budget, Drew offers affordable options with high quality, memorable photography. I'm so thankful Drew was our photographer. Our pictures will forever be cherished.

What are the odds? Anyway, even though he's probably super busy getting ready for his upcoming wedding he still took the time to connect me with a bunch of photographers who might be able to help me out! If he goes above and beyond for someone who isn't even a client, imagine what he'll do for you if you hire him.

Highly recommended for studio work of any kind. His shots are well-composed and perfectly lit from every angle. His retouching is like expertly applied makeup - a ton of work and worlds of improvement and you hardly know it's there. Practical stuff was all great. Turnaround time from the shoot was brief, just a couple of business days, faster than promised. No need to send them back for round two or any reworks, he nailed it on the first go. The studio itself was exactly what you want in a working studio floor - comfortable, packed to the gills with all the gear you might need, and messy like the space of a creative person. The space put me at ease and made getting the shots we needed that much more efficient. Communication throughout the whole thing was perfect and quick. For simple portraits and headshots in one wardrobe I was in and out in an easy half hour after starting right on time. In the end I paid for two shots and he sent me multiple cuts of five shots. For what I paid and the quality of work, I got a great bargain. I expect to use these shots for years to come.

His work is timeless, classic and edgy all at the same time. I've used his services for a photo shoot and he was professional, knowledgeable and truly creative. In fact one of the most talented of our time. I'd give him ten stars if the rating system allowed it!
