Heirloom portraits are more of a southern thing so I sent her inspiration pictures for reference. She said she could do it so I ended up booking her for a session. She had tons of props and outfits to choose from. We decided to go the simpler route and opted for no props with a simple white background. The session ended up being 15 minutes (she said she got THE shot). After about a week, Cristal sent me a soft proof gallery with about 75 photos to choose from. I picked my 12 and texted her feedback on the ones I wanted more/less cropped. She also nailed the vignette on the heirloom portraits; it was exactly what I was looking for! She sent me a second gallery with my 12 picks, also including them in B&W and different editing styles (34 total). Cristal had great communication, and will go above and beyond to make sure you love your pictures! I would highly recommend her if you live in the IE area. One tiny note, 4 photos have a faint line at the top. It looks like the editing filter wasn't taken all the way up. With that being said, not the end of the world and would gladly book her again.

The pictures came to my home and they don't even look retouched which is part of the package. They were bent in the corners and the paper looks like basic paper you buy from a store. WOW, and this was their second paper choice. I called up and they were like, you can return them and get a refund and get a digital... Yea, ok that cost more! The pictures came out nice but the prices for the packages are insane especially in this economy. The Campus Family package which offers you to choose two pics, doesn't give you at least one digital download! If you want just to do the digital download, it's 179 with retouch, 149 without! OMG, Crazy! After reading all these negative reviews, I don't understand why colleges use them.

Alternatively you can pay $150+ for a single photo, and prices go up $20-$50 per photo for retouching. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
