Excellent experience and delicious food! My only hesitation in making this recommendation is that it will make it even harder to find a table when we swing by.
It's a small, family-owned restaurant with very good food, and very good service, at a very good value. It's a slower pace but in a good and expected way.
My kids said the Pizza Margherita was "the best pizza in the world." It was indeed uniquely fantastic. And that's in a city where every corner has a pizza place. My kids constantly beg to return. If you enjoy black pepper and cheese, I recommend the Scallopina al Pepe. We will continue to return!
The owner/server, Petulia, is one of the kindest, most hospitable, and gracious strangers I've ever met. Maybe all Sicilians are that way. But it's very refreshing to go to a nice restaurant and not feel self-conscious about having three (mostly well-behaved) kids. She's almost worth visiting independent of the food. read more
