These guys are fantastic. I dropped an email from the UK to order a basket, they came back straight away and put together a fantastic selection for me, superbly packaged with a great choice of good quality picnic nibbles and great wine. On the day I got a bit lost and Jasper offered to get in his bike, let me have a beer on the canal and deliver my picnic to me while having a beer nowhere near the shop. Excellent service. Excellent picnic. What a cool original thing to do with your partner or mates in Amsterdam. They couldn't have been nicer and I'd recommend their service to anyone. read more

Vanaf deze zomer kan iedereen een lekkere, luxe picknick met alles er op en er aan bestellen bij de Picnic Company in Amsterdam. De picknicks kunnen opgehaald worden vanaf een woonboot aan een Amsterdamse gracht, vlakbij de Amstel en worden op verzoek bezorgd. De Picnic Company serveert geen simpel broodje met een salade, maar een uitgebreid menu geserveerd als een luxe picknick, vanaf € 15 per persoon. Alle gerechten zijn huisgemaakt en worden samengesteld uit producten van de beste kwaliteit. Er is een keuze uit vijf verschillende menu's: High Tea, Tapas, Provenaals, Last-Minute Borrel-op-de-Boot en I love Amsterdam. Er is een verrassend assortiment van verfrissende drankjes (bijvoorbeeld de favoriete cava van Salvador Dali, pure vruchtensapppen, verse smoothies en biologische frisdrank uit Engeland). De picknicks worden verpakt in eco-vriendelijke materialen en zijn voorzien van alle benodigdheden: van borden en bestek, tot tandenstokers en pepermuntjes.

Van origine levert Picnic Company catering aan alle soorten groepen, zoals een feest op locatie of bijvoorbeeld een bedrijfsuitje. Aangezien de Picnic Company werkt vanuit een woonboot aan een gracht in het centrum van Amsterdam, werd de link naar catering op het water voor particulieren snel gelegd. Wanneer je aan het varen bent in je (gehuurde) bootje zul je merken dat er weinig eetgelegenheden zijn langs het water waar je eten kan afhalen. Picnic Company is de uitkomst. Bestel je picknick tot een uur van tevoren en haal deze vervolgens al varend op. Ook wanneer je niet gaat varen, maar gewoon lekker wilt genieten van de buitenlucht in een park in Amsterdam of daar buiten kan je uiteraard een picknick bij de PIcnic Company bestellen!
