Yes, it's a veterinarian, so you'd think that is obvious. But it hasn't been our experience that all vets are really in it for the pets. They spent a ton of time with us and provided a ton of options for our aging dog who has some chronic pain. They spent a ton of time with our German shepherd puppy and went out of their way to make the experience rewarding for both dogs. It's so important, especially for a puppy, to have a good feeling about going to see the vet. They clearly understand this and make every effort to make the dogs love it here. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

We saw him a handful more times after that for other dog maintenance things. I then was struggling under the care of another vet with my very first puppy. As soon as I got on the phone with Cassidy (hope I'm spelling her name right), I was immediately soothed as she gave me a lot of information, help, and guidance through my situation. I requested Dr. Cullen again as I had some previous experience and liked how he operated. He was somehow even better than last time--talked me through pup's issues, walked me through treatment, and reassured me. Luckily, pup almost immediately improved! I ended up signing up for their wellness plan and am happy to be a part of VCA's CareClub instead of our previous vet. They also have significantly more availability than previous vet and happen to be within walking distance to my home. So happy we returned, and so happy pup & I get to feel safe.

Most recently, l've come back to this VCA because of Dr Keeley being Fear Free Certified. Olivia is also wonderful with my dogs, no matter if they're fearful or reactive. HOWEVER, if this review didn't include them, it'd be absolutely 0 stars for my interactions with their administration vet assistant Cassidy. She contradicts processes that I've been told by other admin staff leading to confusion, is unkind to my animals, is rude to fellow staff including speaking badly about them to me while they're out of the room, and is not communicative at all to other staff members or owners leading to confusion and a generally off-putting experience. I have no issue at all if there's an appointment running long & we need to reschedule for another time or something like that - I have an issue with how she speaks to people, staff & owners alike. Telling an owner things you don't like about the vet or vet tech is really inappropriate and needs to be handled without involving clients. I've been to so many VAs and never had this awful of an interaction, even leading to confrontation. If not for Olivia and Dr Keeley, I would've stopped coming here because I don't want Cassidy near my animals or me or frankly in any customer/client-facing role.

They handled him with care and explained the exams and gave me transparent answers; which I appreciated. Their quick response is also nice and the staff seem all warm. The doctor was correct, and not soon after my dog did pass away. ------ Now my fur daughter is being seen by the same vet. It's hard for me to trust vets but she made me feel very comfortable. They never pushed unnecessary things upon me which I appreciate. It's also kind of luck that plays in and I'm glad I found a vet I can trust. They billed $326 for Senior Canine Wellness blood work, $45 for the rabies vaccine, $50 for the 3-year canine distemper vaccine, $52 for Bordetella/parainfluenza oral vaccine, a $10 medical waste fee, and $99 for a senior exam (7 years old), for a total of $577. After looking into it, I found that their vaccines are about $10 more expensive than other animal hospitals, and the senior canine wellness blood work is about $100-$150 higher than average. Before going to this animal hospital, I recommend checking other places. I've been going to this clinic for several years and have done all exams and vaccinations there. Last year, it cost around $300, but now the prices have become extremely expensive. After doing some research following this visit, I found other places that are about $200 cheaper. Please do your research before going. Sully Animal Hospital charges excessively high fees for vaccinations, treatments, and diagnostic tests. They also charge a high price for senior canine wellness bloodwork, and on top of that, they bill separately for the senior exam and even add a medical waste fee.

Even kinder from the vets was that they offered to take her in the day of, but that there were budget-friendly options in case. I have been in and out of other surgeries for family and I really appreciated this gesture. Would highly recommend to anyone as these are genuine vets and really eased my concerns.

From sudden upset stomachs to regular checkups, even to getting our youngest one spayed, they always handle situations professionally and make sure your pets are healthy. We have also boarded our dogs there for the weekend when we needed to go on a trip, and they always get nail trims and the option of baths or other services. Nope no one around...we waited about 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk so we decided to walk around and look for someone. We found a tech who put us in a room and told us to wait there. After another 10 minutes the doctor comes in and tells us to put our information into the computer and that he'd be right back. I put all of our information in then the tech came back, only to use the computer I was on to take another call and wipe the information I just put in. After that she started asking me questions about my pet but was in someone else's account so it wasn't my pet. It was all just very unorganized and unprofessional. I don't think I'll ever be back.
