That is, until we met Nick. He was absolutely incredible with Sadie and changed both Sadie's and our lives for the better. Within a few minutes he recognized her lack of confidence. After a few short weeks we went to pick up our girl and the change in her was amazing! She now has more confidence and is less anxious, her barking has subsided, she has great recall and we now walk together with loose leash heel. During her stay with Nick, he would send daily pictures, videos and updates keeping us connected to her and their progress together. If you are considering training for your dog, stop thinking and do it, you would be in excellent hands with Nick. He treats your dog like family! We mare beyond thrilled with our experience with Nick and New England dog training Company.

He is excited every time I pull into the driveway and he comes home tired. Bill also comes to the house for dog training. I find his advice very helpful. After only a few short weeks, he is more behaved and has not chewed on the furniture (fingers crossed). We continue to work on social interactions with humans, as our dog lives to greet everyone.

My young Aussie and I have taken several obedience classes at Southcoast Dog Training & Care. Each…read moretime, my dog Niko has become more engaged, obedient, and eager to please. The "Pop Up" class - Obility - is so much fun. The agility equipment is arranged (differently each time) around the large yard and the dogs (and people) enjoy the challenge and novelty of going over and through all of the jumps, balance boards, and tunnel. Patti and Sandy have been great. Unlike other trainers I've had, they demonstrate exercises with the dogs in the class. This is so much more helpful to observe than the trainers' fully trained dog's demonstration. Sandy and Patti are very observant about the behavior of both the dogs in the class as well as the people handling their dogs. I've learned a lot and Niko loves it. We continue classes for fun and enrichment even though he has a really reliable recall.

I almost don't even know where to start with sharing my gratitude for Sandy. Sandy approaches all of her sessions with us with honesty, empathy, and kindness. To say she goes above and beyond is an understatement. She takes my daughter's phone calls when she has questions, is willing to make house calls for training "emergencies", has filmed videos for my daughter's high school to help prepare students for having a service dog in school, and she has become a true friend of our family. Sandy also genuinely LOVES our dog, which we can see with every session. This puppy has honestly saved my daughter's life, and none of this would have been possible without Sandy. If you are looking for a trainer who truly loves dogs and who will take the time to genuinely get to know you as a human being, Sandy is your trainer. I cannot recommend her enough.

While completely lovable, he was out of control when he first came to our house. While playing in the back yard, he nearly bit my BFF because he was so excited about running around and playing. I had taken another, far more docile dog to K9 Instincts for boarding for many years. Matt & his staff were exceptionally kind and caring to Rachel. I knew they also did training so I decided to call and have Axle evaluated. Axle went for a 3 week "boot camp" and it was completely worth the time and expense. Even though it's "shock collar" training, it completely transformed his behavior. After the first three or four months, we began to use the collar periodically in situations where we knew he may have some problems (he was rescued from a fighting dog situation, so he still struggles with other dogs). It's now really a pleasure to be out and about with Axle. While talking, Matt mentioned that I would probably enjoy Axle much more with training. He was completely right. I no longer have anxiety that Axle will be out of control and a threat to others.

I received a recommendation from a co-worker to go here to have my dog trained. I should have…read morelistened to my gut instinct during my initial visit to the facility and not brought my dog here for training. I thought Brittany was very rude, condescending and acted like my dog had the worst behaviors of any dog. She is not aggressive and does not behave badly; she is just very vocal and reactive to other dogs when on leash. When I went back to pick her up, I noticed a big difference in her and was not happy about that. I feel like I got a very timid dog back and it took us about a year to get her back to her old self. Does she come when called and stay when I put her in a down and stay, sure, but she is still very vocal and still reactive to other dogs when on leash. So basically, they did not fix the issue that I brought her in for. The training is definitely not worth the money paid. I would not recommend this facility for training. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that you can get trained with your dog.
