The winds of this past winter were brutal on roofs. I'm sure there were thousands of people looking…read morefor repair or replacements. Our replacement wasn't urgent so we waited until the summer. We called 3 companies and were surprised by the level of neglect we received. No one was returning calls. We then came across Glenn Wright at Four Seasons Roofing. He responded immediately, came and had a look a day or two later and provided a quote on the spot. The contracting was clear, straightforward and responded exactly to what we needed. We were feeling good about our choice of companies. The crew arrived as planned, walked us through every step and helped us with some difficult choices. They were the most professional, efficient, friendly, accommodating crew I've ever encountered. The result was fantastic and there wasn't a sign of them having been there (other than the beautiful roof) - quite an accomplishment for a job as messy as replacing shingles. Glenn followed up to ensure we were happy with the work and approach of his crew. We absolutely were. This is a company you can bank on being trustworthy, fair and extraordinarily professional. I could not recommend them more highly.

They did such an awesome job & I just couldn't be happier! I have no idea why Yelp is showing this business as closed & no longer in business, perhaps because they sold their other business, Reliable Fuels, which was also at this same address, but rest assured that Metro Paving has never closed. It is still going full force, and they do amazing work!

On the date they were supposed to start, no one showed up, so I called their office and they said that the estimate was incorrect due to incorrect measurements so they would have to come out and re-measure. So I met with them again and they re-measured and gave me an estimate a little higher than the initial one. I accepted and a new start date was given. Again, a no show. When I called and spoke with their rep, Earl, who I had been dealing with, he gave me a whole slew of nonsense about why work had not commenced yet; none of which made any sense. Absolutely unprofessional due to the amount of time they have wasted for us and the lack of clear communication. I would not recommend them for any paving jobs.

I asked them to leave the top soil removed in a pile that I had to tear up some sod and re seed a big area of my lawn. They figured "meh, it will take him a day with a shovel and take us 5 minutes with the excavator." and just removed the sod and even carted it away, then filled and graded it for me. No charge. Friendly guy too. They're a bit booked up in peak season, but if you're good, who isn't? It feels good to leave a positive review of a kijiji-found contractor for once. Highly reccomended.

Unfortunately this time the fence sunk over the winter, alot on one side. I followed up multiple times with no response. Finally a few people came to look at it, they said they would follow-up with me. I never heard back. I followed up again by phone, this time the owner was very rude and yelled at me. I asked her to please stop yelling. I asked for a quote for a higher fence (5ft) as she explained to fix the current one (4ft) it would leave a huge gap at the bottom which my dog could get out. She said she would send a quote. A month later I followed up again. She then replied they will not come and fix it. I've recommended them to my family and friends after this first install. This time was very upsetting to see the lack of service and professionalism after the sale. Buyer beware. I would not recommend based on this experience.
