Words cannot adequately express the gratitude I have for Kevin Thomas. I came to him at the lowest,…read moremost fragile point of my life, feeling completely shattered by the weight of my divorce. Navigating the legal system in St. Charles felt impossible until Kevin stepped in. He didn't just provide legal counsel; he was timely. He was thorough. He was accurate. He was a reminder if I missed something. His prices are rare and unusual, and they coincide with his rare and unusual qualities, including his personality and his advice, timelines & more. What stands out most about Kevin is his unwavering patience. During moments when I felt overwhelmed, he never rushed me or treated me like just another case file. He truly helped me understand the process because I hadn't done this before. He is a rare professional who leads with deep empathy and a 'human-first' approach. Kevin is also a man of immense integrity. He never over-promised, which I appreciated during such an uncertain time, but he consistently over-delivered. His thoroughness was unmatched, and his timeliness ensured that nothing ever slipped through the cracks. He went above and beyond to protect my interests when I didn't have the strength to do it myself. If you are a woman/man in the Kane County area navigating a difficult season and need an advocate who is as brilliant as he is kind, Kevin Thomas is the person you want in your corner. He truly saved my peace of mind.

The absolute WORST service I've ever experienced. During my…read moredivorce Kevin constantly told me I wasn't making his job easier.. the job that he was hired to do and paid for. He had the audacity to say I wasn't making HIS JOB any easier because I didn't want to agree to something blindly. Anytime I called with a question or emailed him he would remind me that he had to charge me for our conversation as if I didn't already know that and was paying him. He made me feel like I was wasting his time and he didn't care to help me. The whole time I felt like he was trying to get rid of me and didn't take it seriously. He never included a lot of important things in our divorce that I am still having to figure out. Kevin Thomas was paid to handle my Divorce and he didn't include anything necessary for tax claim purposes with my child. I called him to ask a few questions and he immediately started yelling over the phone, cutting me off that he is not to handle this and my accountant should. Being that he had interrupted me I stopped him to say "I understand what you're saying but this should have been included already in the agreement" he snapped at me and yelled that I can't talk over him. He told me to find a new lawyer because he didn't have the time to help me. I reminded him that throughout my divorce he made me feel like he didn't have time to help me as well. He angrily yelled again and told me he wasn't going to help even if I paid him and not to call him ever again. The most disrespectful person I've ever interacted with. Do not recommend.
