Ameya Patankar dropped off the face of the earth after he was paid to set up a trust. We needed further assistance (which we/our legal insurance would have paid for), but he would not call, respond to emails, nor return a voice message. I emailed him email asking for help with a deed, and asked him to call me....he responded via email saying he couldn't help us, vs calling as I requested. He completely misinterpreted the email I sent and would allow me the chance to provide clarity. Multiple attempts to further contact him from both my husband and I went with ZERO response. He is extremely unprofessional and rude. We feel he treated us this way because we are using legal insurance. Further we've hired a highly reputable estate lawyer who is now starting from scratch thanks to Ameya. You get what you pay for!! DO NOT RECOMMEND. Also we are complaining to our legal insurance about him. Seems many attorneys doing work with these legal plans are sub par. AVOID this firm or at least Ameya. read more

I initially met with Monica from the law firm. First impression she is highly capable in taking on the case. At first Monica was showing up to the court dates and taking care of everything, but overtime she was sending her brother to go ask for continuances and eventually had him take over the case. BIG mistake, her brother is not competent and should not handle any courtroom related matters. He couldn't even speak in front of the judge, lied to the judge and made a fool out of us. If you do go to them, get it in writing Monica will handle your case without the help of her brother otherwise you will end up with a mediocre attorney at best. read more

If there was a way to give zero stars I would have. I used him as a divorce attorney and he didn't advise me on anything. He simply took my money. Half the time I think he was working for my ex's attorney. Every time I was in court him and my ex's attorney would have secret conversations and you could clearly tell Gary did nothing and simply nodded his head in agreement. Then they would both come back over by me and give me some ridiculous terms that no sane person would agree to. More than likely trying to drag everything out so I'd have to pay him more in the long run. Do yourself a favor and find a real attorney with a set of balls not this guy. I'm writing this as I'm making my last and final payment even though he didn't do anything to advise me in any way and it cost me thousands because he didn't give me the proper legal and financial advise that he lead me to believe I was paying for.
