I stumbled upon this wonderful trattoria by pure serendipity, as I was looking for its prior incarnation. I was warmly greeted by the genial host and waiter Roberto. He was quite engaging and speaks at least three languages fluently.
His partner Claudia is the chef extraordinaire. My plate of spaghetti and polpette was beautifully but simply prepared and delivered by the Chef herself! She speaks at least 5 languages including the native Sardu. Her knowledge of the island is encyclopedic as she was born and reared in Sardinia. She generously shared her island knowledge as I finished my late lunch.
Oh, and the spaghetti and polpette was only 8€! Having enjoyed my main course so much I couldn't resist the dolce. My curiosity was rewarded with a Sardinian strudel I will dream of for weeks! I can't recommend this pleasant little trattoria highly enough! read more
