Very cute place!! My sister and husband went in for piercings, and we had such a great experience. The service was excellent, everything was super clean and sanitary, and everyone was so nice and welcoming. We also saw people getting tattoos while we were there, and they were looking great! Our experience was only for piercings, but based on what we saw and how well we were treated, we would definitely go back. Highly recommend! read more

I'm so happy I found this artist! From the beginning, Picazo made the entire experience feel easy and comfortable. He is incredibly talented and has such a great eye for detail, but what I appreciate most is how well he is able to take an idea in my head and turn it into something even better than I pictured. Picazo is patient, easy to talk to, and never makes you feel rushed when figuring out exactly what you want. I always feel confident putting my ideas in their hands, and I absolutely love how my tattoos have turned out. The shop is also such a welcoming and enjoyable environment, which makes the experience that much better. I genuinely wouldn't go anywhere else for my tattoos and have already recommended them to my friends and family. Definitely an artist you can trust with your vision! read more

Found Fernando after a bad experience at another local shop. He changed the original work into a great Viking Ruin symbol that makes me smile when I see it. Had a Swedish phrase also put on my bicep and just went back for another small piece. Such fun...and he was very patient with me to get it exactly like I wanted it to be. So pleased to have found him. Have wanted to do this for some time...so it was my 76th birthday present to myself. Never too late! read more

I did a walk-in and Fernando was super helpful from start to finish. The shop felt really welcoming, and the whole experience was smooth and comfortable. I'll definitely be going back! read more

We were celebrating my bachelorette party when my group decided to spontaneously get matching tattoos! Fernando was able to accommodate us that day and do 8 back to back tattoos! He was so fast but so talented. His line work was seriously impressive. Each of the tattoos were priced well. He was super friendly and patient especially when it came to our indecisiveness about stencil placement and last minute changes to the design. While we waited we watched movies on their large TV and it felt like a movie night with the girls! All of my gals are over the moon about their new tattoos to commemorate my special weekend and upcoming marriage. We would highly recommend Fernando and hope to come back again one day! read more

Fernando is hands down one of the most talented artist in the desert, I have been fortunate to have known him since the beginning of his career tattooing and he continues to amaze me with his precision and attention to detail. He only gets better through the years truly. I am very selective of who tattoos me and would much rather wait if I have to in order to get the vision and line work right. I am very grateful to have caught him in between tattoo expos as he is a very busy talented artist, he is very patient and accommodating. I know he cares about his clients because he communicates well and expresses his opinions to make sure both parties are on the same page and making the vision come together to the best of his ability, his shop and his style of working is very clean and follows protocols to the T which is another huge factor when it comes to picking the right artist. He is very patient and such a gentlemen which I appreciate because I can be a bit indecisive, he made sure to make my visit the most comfortable, I noticed every time I've stopped by the shop to get a tattoo he has this ritual of lighting an incense which is so cool; I love the concept of that, it's unique and meditative I can't wait to see my most recent piece healed up so I can post a picture review! Looking forward to continue to get tattoos by him. I will continue to brag about his work because he always exceeds my expectations Much love read more

PicazoTat2 - Best friends 15+ years No matter what, no matter where - Tattoo Near Me - Palm Desert, California

Well--I finally found a real inking artist. I have been to numerous tattoo artists throughout the United States, and their artistic abilities have been, for a lack of a kinder way of saying this, "messed up." I had one inking on my right hand of a triangle with a cross in the center in 2009. Sad to say--the "artist" (and I use that word loosely) who did it was disorganized and detailed his idea, not mine, of what a triangle with a cross looked like, on the center exterior of my right hand. The design was off center, colors bled, and when I went back three weeks later, the shop was shut down, and the "inking nut" who did the work was gone. Over the years, while working in various regions of the United States, I have scheduled appointment with other artists, only to have them, (1) require a deposit and never show, (2) cancel at the last minute, and/or (3) perform there "artistic inking" in a "studio" that looked like a nightclub. I was told by countless artists over the years that the image could not be reworked, and one told me to go see a dermatologist to have it removed. And--so the tables turned when I moved to Palm Springs and encountered the Picazo Tattoo Studio on the way to my tailor's store. When I entered the inking studio, it was immaculate. It was well lit, excellent studio chairs, and the layout was totally organized. I spent time w/ Fernando, and he was very detailed. I provided him w/ the date the tattoo had been originally inked, a vision of what I had in mind, and we actually talked about various ways the image could be reworked using my idea(s) and his artistic eye. The proprietor is very much an artist. I have seen other tattoo artists who claim to be "artist," while using stencils to attempt to create what I am interested in. Fernando took photos of my hand and requested that I send ideas of what I was looking for in my "cover-up." I also asked him to brainstorm, as I could see he was an actual artist. In fact, when I walked in he was freehand sketching some amazing artwork. I put a small deposit down, and we scheduled an appointment one week out. The day of the appointment, we looked at various images I had sent, as well as ones he had created. Using what seemed like pretty high-tech computer graphics, he was able to generate an image of what my reworked tattoo would look like. On the day of my appointment, we started on time, and we concluded the work without a problem. He was very thorough and explained the aftercare for the image. The price was very reasonable, and I really appreciated that he was accessible by text or email with questions. I am planning on having the remainder of my arm done in a month. If you are looking for an outstanding inking artist, visit Picazo Tattoo Studio, and ask for Fernando the owner! read more

Fernando was amazing. My wife and I wanted matching tattoos, we checked out all the shops in Palm Desert and came back to Fernando's shop. Decided to do a walk in as I was in town for Stagecoach. I was promptly greeted by Pinatattzs (Piña) she was cleaning and stopped to come over and great. Consultation & quote went well. I felt extremely comfortable. As i waited for my stencil to be prepared, I noticed and loved how clean and detailed shop was. Owner was actively cleaning when I entered & continued doing the cleaning & moping floors. Being in the service industry I totally know sanitation and cleanliness is MAJOR! so this was a +. Piña created the stencil & I approved after minimal draft adjustments. She listened to what I wanted and had no hesitation in making sure I was happy with what she was drafting on approval we prepd for the placement & began the work. I can say LIGHT HAND! have had other tattoos where i cringe from pain and Hands Down, she is definitely light handed and work was a breeze for me. Tattoo came out just like I wanted! THANK YOU! highly recommend! read more

I found Fernando on Instagram tags. There were a few shops i took interest in, but this one looked so good, and when I messaged the shop, i got a friendly reply and Fernando was excited to do the tattoo! My daughter and I got matching tattoos, if you're looking for detail, and super clean lines, this is your guy! I've also seen stomach pieces and back pieces he's done, and I think his attention to detail, and insight is amazing. Easy to talk to, and not rude like you can sometimes get in a tattoo artist. He was fine having a convo, or working away at your tattoo. Everything is clean and sterile. So far I've gotten 3 tattoos from him and i plan on him being my new tattoo guy!! Absolutely highly recommend him! read more

I was a little behind in scheduling my day so I requested a same day appointment. Fernando was able to get me into his schedule with very short notice. I will post a picture later. I can't post it now since it is the name of my baby. I have a gender reveal tomorrow (the secret can't be let out). I can't wait to get more work done. The lettering is very precise and I can't express in words how happy I am with it. I have tattoos from 3 other artists and his work is by far the best.
