It's been a four weeks now since we visited Wow for the first time. I thought I'd give it a couple…read moredays for me to calm down before writing a review. Now four weeks later I am still as disgusted with this place as the day I went there. I wish I could shout from the roof tops to unexpected new potential clients to ruuuun. I wish some one had told me to run. I had been wanting to try this salon for a while but hindsight as they say- well I wish I'd never graced the doors. I can absolutely honestly say I literally paid $50 to have my toes polished because that's about the size of what happened. First of all we made 430 appointments because when I called to ask if they took walk-ins or if I need appointment an appointment was strongly encouraged so we made two 430 appointments for pedicures. We arrived over 30 minutes early just out of courtesy because I can't stand being late which I didn't expect them to take us on in or anything I knew my appointment was not until 430. However they want ahead and put us in chairs to soak. My mom got her pedicure started pretty quickly once we arrived by high school sophomore. Which I was a little took back by because i mean I have kids at home I could've got to do my pedicure but the girl was very nice but it was still a little surprising. Now my mom got hers done and finished and sat there and sat there and sat there and mine had never even started. Mine probably didn't even start till after 530. When the lady started on my pedicure if you can even call it that -she was frazzled and all over the place I tried to be patient and give her the benefit of the doubt as she was very nice but I'm not sure that this is the field she should be in. So she started on my left foot and since I proceeded to tell her I was allergic to the callus remover just for general information this was the main subject- it was almost like I had told her that I had a callous to work on which was not the case so instead of removing my toenail polish first like a typical pedicure she proceeded to use the cheese grater to grate on the bottom of my foot on a callus but on the left side only after a while she finally decided to take the polish off my left foot and then put it back in the water then she took both of my feet out rubbed lotion on my legs and put hot towels on them-I proceeded to tell her you know my right foot still has polish on it and you haven't even touched my right foot yet- there's been no scrubbing there's been no cleaning there's been no nothing to either foot but my right foot had not been touched at all and my left had only had that one callus scrubbed. She proceeded to be extremely frazzled almost like she was spinning in circles then complained nonstop that she couldn't get my toenail polish off which was just regular polish until one of the other ladies come and told her if she would put more acetone on her cotton ball it will come right off- then she decided she wanted to use the electric File to finish grinding the toenail polish off of my toes since she couldn't get it off which I told her I did not want that done so instead she picked up a manual filer and proceeded to file my toenails down on the tops anyways after I had already asked not to. The filing was completely unnecessary even if I would have wanted it when the other lady come over and saturated the cotton ball in acetone the polish fell straight off I don't understand what the big deal was other than the lady was frazzled. Then on multiple times I told the lady to please please make sure she cleaned around my toenails good that was the most important thing to me if I wasn't going to get my feet scrub to please at least clean around my toenails very good and that never happened she barely baby flicked I mean barely barely flicked my toes with a cuticle pusher which she told everybody in there multiple times that she didn't have any clean cuticle pushers did anyone have one hers was dirty but then all the sudden she appeared with one so did I get a dirty one as well she barely touched me with it I don't know but I do know is this is the absolute worst pedicure I've ever had in my life if it could even be called a pedicure!!! It was well after 7 o'clock before we got to leave. What a waste of time but worse money. I am disgusted

Gina let me know exactly what would happen and what I may feel. During my visit she constantly checked to make sure I was ok. The procedure itself was pretty quick. She numbed the area around my eyes. After wiping off the numbing agent she started adding the 'ink' to my eyes. It was slightly uncomfortable to me. It was very ticklish which caused my eyes to water. Gina talked me through it! When she finished I was able to see the results. It was definitely noticeable. With that being said the 'ink' does fall off after a few days and you get to see the results. I was able to see a few spots that didn't take. I let Gina know and we scheduled my next appointment. It was even faster than the first. All in all I really like the eyeliner. I don't have to waste time in the mornings adding eyeliner. I would definitely go back to Gina for any update on my eyeliner!

Right as my appointment that I wanted like a month for was coming, I came down with covid and Katie was SO flexible and kind on rescheduling. She is clearly a boss so she books up pretty quickly so I had to wait another month for her services. She color matched my brows PERFECTLY and got the shape spot on. Like I said, I already had decent shape but she made them look so defined. I'm not going to lie the healing was quite annoying. You can't get them wet, sweat etc and with the Louisiana heat, it was very hard not to sweat. If I decide to do microblading again I am definitely going to get it done in the winter so I don't need to stress every time I go outside. The scary part about microblading is after the scabs fall off they lighten a lot & then darken back up. Katie eased my anxiety and they looked nice after the first session. I went back for my perfecting session 6 weeks later & they are just about healed now. The healing process was also a lot easier the second time around. I liked her work, so I reached out on the website for an appointment. Response time was quick and Katie was really flexible in accommodating me (I contacted her for a next day appointment during probably the busiest time of year in New Orleans - Mardi Gras). She squeezed me in for the next day and gave me detailed address info so that I wouldn't have any problems finding the place. She even texted me the day of the appointment when an earlier appointment slot became available, which I happily took. When I got there, she got started with me right away (despite me interrupting her break because I was a little early, sorry Katie!). She was very gentle and I didn't experience any discomfort. When I finally was done and looked at my eyes, they weren't red or irritated, something I'd noticed in pics in reviews for other places. And, my lashes were BEAUTIFUL! I got a new full classic set. The whole process took about 2 hours and the lashes lasted for weeks. Katie did an amazing job, plus she's super sweet with awesome customer service. 100% recommend.
