Joah was such an amazing waitress! She was very kind and attentive. Food was well portioned and filling, you'll probably end up boxing some for the next day. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing. I recommend the garlic chicken and lime chicken platter. Their tres leche is made fresh, it's super delicious, refreshing and tastes incredible. Passionfruit juice is amazing there as well! They have a lot and I mean a lot of options, you definitely won't be disappointed.

We ordered from here while on vacation, the food was delicious and authentic. Everything was fresh and hot and even though we didn't dine in I wish we would have because the ambiance made me feel like I was in DR. Hidden Gem!

It was really good. I had never eaten at a Dominican restaurant so I asked what to order and was not led astray. I ordered the #8 which is chicken breast filled with yellow banana and mozzarella with mashed potatoes. It was like an Alfredo sauce with cheese. It was on point!! Plus cheap buckets of beer.

Our first time visiting this establishment was on April 8th 2023, it was so good we came back for breakfast on April 9th 2023. The service from Paul last night and the nice lady (I did not get her name) was very good. The food came out pretty fast. It was hot and delicious. For dinner my husband had the red snapper, it was steamed with coconut milk and garlic and served with rice and beans. He enjoyed every bit of it! All that remained was a pile of bones . I had the stew oxtail with rice and beans and a small salad. It was so good!! ( You may have noticed I'm a fan of oxtails) this one ranks in my top 10 for flavor and tenderness. For breakfast we had Mangu with eggs, cheese and salami with coffee. Absolutely delicious! We now have a favorite spot in Kissimmee.

4. Mofongo de Bistec very saucy!

This place gets better and better every time I come. One of my favorite Dominican spots in Florida! Great food and vibes. Adaliz my server/Bartender was super sweet and attentive. Breakfast lunch or dinner this is the best in the area.

$30 chicken meal

Food was great. You can't beat $30 and a full family meal for 4-5. They give you rice for 6-8. Chicken had great flavor and I will definitely be eating from here when I come to Orlando. I always come here looking for latin food. Cilantrillo is great and so is Pal campo but if you've been to both of those they are very very expensive. This place is cheaper and food is great. I wouldn't say it's a dine in place although you can go there to dine. I would buy to go. Service seemed great to me. Very nice over the phone service and food was done in 15 minutes.

Authentic Dominican Food. Super fresh homemade cooking and definitely flavorsome food. If you are looking for authentic Dominican Food this place definitely has it. I ordered TO GO and this place did not disappoint. I got the Mangu Tres Golpes with Fried egg, Salami, & Cheese. Mangu is boiled smashed plantains usually eaten for breakfast or brunch. This meal was Fresh, Tasty, and great portion. I definitely would recommend you trying it out.

$16 for this!!!??

Everything taste fresh and well seasoned. Definitely I will be back to try the churrasco and some other options. Why not 5 stars, cause there is always a room to improve!

Upon unbagging the order at home the rice & beans were missing to my specific meal we ordered about 4-5 meals. And the beans given for 5.99 was extremely small. I drove all the way back to inform them the meal was missing the rice and beans if they can remake the order for me since I've just had to drive all the way back, and if I can have the correct beans I live 30-40 min away. The server tells the active manager Tito what has happened, Tito arrives to inform me he is going to check the cameras because the kitchen staff is stating they included everything and he needs to find out who is telling the truth.... At this point I'm now waiting for Tito to conduct his investigation For RICE AND BEANS, After sometime he returns to go to the chefs and come back and tell me they made a mistake. So he makes me wait only to receive rice and beans and no chicken. I inform him the chicken was made and picked up an hour ago I was hoping to receive the meal fresh since I am now going to have to eat this with cold chicken from 1 hr ago what am I suppose to do? He stated for me to rewarm the chicken because he knows if he makes the chicken fresh I will keep the one at home and eat it another time. You would think for the massive inconvenience of having to come back twice I would've received the food fresh. No that was not the case, after making me seem at fault even seeing on camera I was telling the truth. I've been coming here for years and have never encountered such unprofessional unempathetic terrible customer service. Tito stated to go home and come back with the chicken so he can make it fresh.... I don't think the active manager even understands how to deescalate or provide ANY customer service. I will never again come back here to pick up food for my family again, nor will I recommend and in fact will not suggest my relatives and friends to ever come or cater for anything.

Their service is great and fast, but more importantly their food is mouth watering good. It always leaves me with a craving to come back and a full stomach ready to tackle the rest of my workday. My favorites have consisted of a Cuban sandwich which is full of pork and sauce and toasted nicely. It also does not fall apart when eating which is a plus when you are trying to stay looking presentable. Their pork is amazingly juicy and just falls apart in your mouth and has been worth every stain I have accidentally caused on my dress shirts. The white rice is fluffy and simple and good but their yellow rice is much better with many items. Their chicharron de cerdo is crispy and breaks easy and it's never been hard or chewy. Their ropa vieja is also delicious and I can't help but devour the entire plate. The rice and beans paired real good with this! My favorite sides have been the avocado salad and their macaroni salad! Both very light and balanced well with light citrus flavors in the avocado salad. I'll keep coming back here because the food honestly reminds me of so many great dishes my family use to make at home and after eating at so many places around Orlando I had yet to find a better place to get Spanish food like this!

From the service, to the cleanliness and of course the food: flavors, portions, everything hits the right spot. The place is quite brightly lit with a lot of tropical houseplants as part of the decor. There are three sections to the restaurant: A cafeteria, an indoor dining area and an outdoor dining area. The indoor dining area entirely consists of private booths whereas the outdoor section has tables and chairs. The service is warm, friendly, quick and most importantly efficient. The portions served are big. This was our third visit to Maracas in the past 4 months and they have been very consistent with their service, food quality as well as quantity. As far as the food is concerned, it will remind one of a hispanic home. The flavors are perfectly balanced, the meats are cooked tender, the beans are rich yet delicious, the rice is buttery, the yucas perfectly seasoned with mojo and the tostones are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside: just like you'd expect your Noche Buena meal to taste like at your abuela's dinner table. On this last visit, we had our usual tostones for appetizers, for the entrées we had the pernil (roast pork) with a side of rice, beans and maduros (yes, they offer three sides with all entrées), we also had the rabo (oxtail curry) with rice, beans and yuca con mojo. Everything was delicious and as always we couldn't finish our meal because of the large portions they serve and had to request take away containers. If you're looking for finger-licking good Dominican food (also for the Cubans looking for food similar to theirs), look no further. Maracas is the place to go. There's a reason we keep returning to this place.
