If you are over on this side of Sigonella and need a bite to eat, a stop at Piazza Pizza in Midtown is, usually, a good choice. Slices, which are displayed in the window, are always available, but you can also order a pie to go or to eat there. Pizza isn't the only option as this eatery has a window on each side (one in front of the movie theater and one inside the bowling alley). Typical bowling alley style snacks are available like chicken nuggets, fries, and so on. You can also get a caffe, espresso, and pastries if you are so inclined.
One thing that Italy doesn't really have, compared to the U.S., is a good place to have breakfast. Now, you can go get a caffe and pastry (which is Italian culture), but that's not what I'm talking about. When you live here for as long as most of us do, we miss certain things about home. One of those things, for myself, was breakfast. We can go to the galley, but even the galley gets old after awhile. Every few weeks, we'd get up early on Sunday and head over here to have breakfast with a few friends.
