David and his staff were always encouraging and work well as a team. Even when they were busy, someone was still available to assist a patient who needed help. They are very skilled, and l felt very confident in their ability to push me enough to make progress, but not so much that I left feeling sore. Because I was there for so long, I saw how they treated everyone with equal attention. I was very impressed by how well they worked with every age group. They worked with confidence and encouragement, whether it was a young athlete or an older patient. The hours are great, and it is easy to make or change an appointment. I highly recommend Metairie Orthopedic and Sports Therapy.

The needling is pretty important to the whole process as well and can be uncomfortable but helps the pain. They were very conscientious with the pandemic - hand sanitizers around, gloves in the early days, and everyone is in masks and has temp checks. Sometimes more people in there than I'm comfortable with, but easy enough to ask for off peak hours. Long story short, I recommend these guys.

Most PT practices are almost cookie cutter versions of the same thing. They come up with a list of…read morethe same exercises and then have somebody tell you to do them. Fyzical is different. To begin with, they have lots of special equipment for balance and gait training. I've had a lot of PT before and never seen this type of equipment. It has been great for both diagnosing and treating my issues. They can also test my ability and measure my progress. They can even compare it against what is normal for my age range. The other thing that they do differently is that when I walk in and tell them about something I'm having a problem with, they work on it with me. They help find me some exercises that address that specific problem. They aren't tied to an unchanging list of exercises. All of the staff is caring and I'm finally making progress with my gait and balance.
