After about 6-8 weeks of therapy twice a week I am no longer experiencing knee pain when I squat or walk up stairs. I now know exercises and stretches to keep my knees pain free after working extensively to stregthen my glutes, quads, hamstrings, and hips. It is a large facility but the therapist and support team are attentive and considerate. The receptionist Madelyn is so very kind and pleasant, Craig is very courteous, observant, and professional. And Henry the PT working with me, is knowledgeable, kind, hardworking and is great to work with. Stacy, Ramiro, Tiffany, and Camelia are all kind and pleasant. These are the ones who have worked with me. The facility may be very large but they truly give great care to all patients. To begin with, they have lots of special equipment for balance and gait training. I've had a lot of PT before and never seen this type of equipment. It has been great for both diagnosing and treating my issues. They can also test my ability and measure my progress. They can even compare it against what is normal for my age range. The other thing that they do differently is that when I walk in and tell them about something I'm having a problem with, they work on it with me. They help find me some exercises that address that specific problem. They aren't tied to an unchanging list of exercises. All of the staff is caring and I'm finally making progress with my gait and balance.
