Set up an appointment for my wife at 8:30 AM for a URI. The appointment was for 12:40 PM. When she arrived, she was told the appointment would be through Tele health. The doctor was not in due to the flu. I understand people get sick. Why couldn't they have called to let my wife know and redirect to another location in Rockford. After putting this on FB, a number of people have had issues at this location. I also did call their call center, and the person I talked to had an attitude, and to me, snotty. I live in Belvidere but see doctors in Elk Grove Village, IL, because I lived in the EGV for 45 years. The people at Alexian Brothers recommended Physicians Immediate Care. Now, I need to pass this experience onto the people at Alexian Brothers. Went in to get checked out and was told to upload pictures of my license and insurance card. So I'm sitting there trying to do it while I don't feel good and the app keeps kicking me back not allowing the upload and so I mentioned it to the girl at the front desk and she said okay just send me a picture of the floor and sign the consent...well it still was kicking me back not accepting the pictures and then I go up there and the girls no longer at the desk. So, I called crusader and made an appointment where they don't have a frustrating registration policy. What's the point of having a person at the front counter if she doesn't do anything? why not just have a machine scan your cards and check you in. Won't ever go back there.. read more

I have had to use this facility twice the first time I broke my foot and everyone was so kind and helpful. The other day I was diagnosed with Covid and pneumonia in my right lung. Everyone was very safe and considerate with making me comfortable I would highly recommend using these doctors and nurses it had been two days and my breathing is already so much better read more

This location is incredibly slow to see you. They bring you to an exam room fairly quickly but then you wait and wait and wait for the doctor. At our most recent visit their online registration system said there was one patient ahead of us and we waited in the exam room for more than an hour. When the "provider" (who I am assuming was not a"doctor" based on their careful use of the word "provider" when talking about her) came in she said there was nothing that could be done for our symptoms and there was no magical cure. Which was fine since I was at a medical clinic looking for a medical solution not the apothecary looking for a magical cure. In the end they sent us away with no more information that we already had from life experience and a quick consult with Dr. Google. We won't return to this location. read more

Had to take my son in due to some concerns that couldn't waiting until after the holiday. I went online and set up an appointment. When I showed up for my appointment this facility was near empty, yet it took me 30 minutes to be called into the room. After a brief visit with the nurse I had to wait 40 more min to be seen by the doctor. Zero sense of urgency, if it's an emergency go to the ER, otherwise just stay home and take Tylenol. read more

Very impersonal make you wait for a long time just for a doctor to come in for 2 min And say you're fine. One woman had THE worst attitude I've ever encountered in my life. I waited in the room for 20 minutes for my notes to be given to me finally had enough opened the door she just looked at me so annoyed and said you're next to be seen and as I was talking asking questions she just walked away. I am giving this my first 0 start review. It has nothing to do with my wait, the receptionist, the nurse, or the Dr. or the care I was given. This is for lack of professionalism on the P.A. Mark VanAnrooy. Today as I sat here waiting on a ride. I think no one knew I was still there. I here a man's voice I find out that his name is Mark VanAnrooy. He is telling the nurses about the patient there for a yeast infection and how she usually uses an over the counter medicine but would be traveling and didn't want the mess of the cream leaking from her. He sounded disgusted in his tone and his words. He actually said I could have went my whole life without hearing that. I wouldn't have came to work today if i knew i was gonna have to hear that. Mark vanAnrooy do you think the patient wanted to hear you talk about her like that or that I did or the nurses? The topic didn't disgust me you did. It's a vagina you came from one and yes even your mom had to deal with that mess of creams I did my term paper on HIPPA. I know he didn't use the patient's name when broadcasting her information. There was no need to. When she walked out of the back and seen me you could see she was so upset and embarrassed. That's humiliating no matter what your there for. If I heard him she had to hear him. I am an only brother to 5 sisters raised by a single mother. If you can't talk about women issues as a professional at your age then you need to retire I work at the largest employer in this area. 4000 in just my plant not to mention all our suppliers. If physicians immediate care does not deal with this. I will let my fellow union members know that if Mark is there we can spend our $ elsewhere. I took my 8 year old daughter here to been seen because she was crying her ear hurt really bad. I called and did the Zip Pass so we wouldn't have to wait.Thay was a waist of time! We waited 45 minutes in the wait are and there was 1 person ahead of us. Finally get back to the room sat and waited another 25 minutes! She was crying this whole time. The staff is so non shulant and doesn't seem to care! I will make the longer drive next time to Crystal Lake to Centegra walk in clinic where her pediatrician is affiliated with. I have visited this clinic 3 times as it is very near my house. I understand that you don't need an appointment so, if they are busy, you will have to wait a long time. Long waits are something I have experienced 2 out of 3 times I have been here. The first time I had an ear infection and was in a lot of pain, so the 45 minute wait was pretty much torture. I don't understand what the wait was about, however, since I was the first patient there when they opened. This week I went there to get a pre-employment physical and TB test, and waited again for 45 minutes. Someone took me back, tested my vision, took my blood pressure, and then left me to change into the gown. I was in the room for a long time before a doctor came in, She had to repeat taking my blood pressure since the first person never wrote it down. She administered my physical (which took all of 5 minutes) and then left. I waited for a long time before someone came in to do that. I arrived at the clinic at 5 P.M. I went back to the exam room at about 5:45 P.M. The TB test wasn't administered until 6:20 P.M. To me, that is pretty unacceptable for a clinic where I was one of two people waiting in the waiting room to see a doctor when I came in. I kept getting apologies for the wait. But after the 4th one, it just bounces off and doesn't ring true anymore. The one good experience I had there was when I went in for a neuroma on my foot. I didn't have to wait very long, and the doctor that saw me was very knowledgeable and wrote me a prescription for a foot insert that I still use to this day (and that neuroma hasn't come back!). So even though I have had a few rough experiences, they do have people there that know what they're doing. It's just a shame I have had more bad than good. read more

A simple DOT exam, nobody waiting in lobby. Half hour wait, Exam went good. Great Doctor, but rest of staff are more concerned about their weekend plans than getting the paperwork associated with the exam completed. I was told as we were leaving the office they needed some documentation from my MD. No problem, was faxed right away while I waited. Then it was left on their fax machine while I continued to wait. Only after I asked if they could look for return fax I was told yes its here but we need more docs. I could have been on my way two hours ago. Its been a week now and I still don't have my DOT card. Doctor is out, not back from records, blah, blah, blah. 20 years of DOT exams and this first one that has ever taken more than an hour start to finish! SAVE yourself time and avoid this place at all cost! read more

One doctor for a waiting room full of patients? I had to do a physical for work. I waited for almost two hours before getting in. I did the drug test thing and they do a dip test for other things. I asked what that test was for and the nurse whom had an over abnundance of attitude simply said "your health". What the hell kind of answer is that when asked a professional question? I don't know what schools are teaching nurses in the way of dealing with CIVIL patients, but some of these nurses need their pedestal kicked out from under them, the rest are great, its a total roll of the dice. read more

I was very pleased with the way they took very good care of me . I went in with back pain and it was work related and work wasn't answering phone to approve my visit but they attended to me anyways while we waited for the approval to pay. I was apprehensive taking my 4 year old to an urgent care facility, but I had great experiences with Physicians Immediate Care in the past and figured it was better than making my daughter wait an extra day to get checked out. Everyone was very patient with my daughter who wanted to be anywhere but there and was very scared. The front desk person had a sticker waiting in the exam room for my little one and Matt who checked us in was very accommodating in trying to take her temperature and pulse. The doctor was in very fast and checked her quickly to keep her calm. We were prescribed medication that the doctor thoroughly informed us of the cost of getting it filled at the clinic compared to the pharmacy, and we filled it there for the convenience. My daughter was given motrin and her first dose of antibiotics while we were there which was so amazing and thoughtful!! I couldn't be thankful enough for the wonderful care we received and I won't hesitate to bring my daughter or anyone else in my family back! read more
