I have been going here since 1980 and a Dr. Rosenberg has been my doctor almost 30 years. They used to take walk-ins only but now I believe its only by appointment. You can get your prescription filled, have xrays, and EKG and allergy test and do many other tests all in one location making this a true one-stop shop. With this capability the doctor is able to make a diagnosis immediately in some cases. I truly love this place. Quite honestly this is the only place that I trust! Dr. Rosenberg is my favorite. He takes his time to explain things, listens well and is compassionate and caring. He really cares about his patients and all the staff. You can tell by the way he interacts with his coworkers that they truly respect him. Over the years I've had many encounters with him and the staff at Macomb Medical which were all good and sometimes even hilarious. I left my wedding ring in the bathroom once and called the office. There was no waiting on the phone line, immediately the staff put me on hold, stopped what they were doing and looked for my ring. It was a very scary time for me but I was definitely supported by the staff. I remember another time a couple years ago when I came to the office for something else but Dr. Rosenburg discovered I had an infection. I didn't feel or see anything so I decided not to take the antibiotics he prescribed. Sure enough, four days later I felt it. Today my appointment was at 8am and I was there for 2 hours...and no...I was not waiting like you would at most places. Dr. Rosenberg and his nurse took their time to find out what was wrong with me. I have nothing negative to say about this place and I would give it a 10 star if I could.

I don't like being ill, which I am a lot, but I enjoy going to see Dr. Rosenberg when I am. I am very comfortable in his presence and genuinely like the man. He listens to my concerns, and has me on a regimen of medications that have my asthma and COPD under control, along with various heart issues. If he's not available for an appointment, his PAC's usually can see me same day, and he's been known to see me during his lunch hour. I can't say enough good about Dr. R and his office staff, which has had a nearly complete turnover in the past few years, all for the better. Highly recommend!

It's a bonus that he always has a pleasant demeanor and is upbeat and funny. His office staff are absolutely the best. Jamie, Dawn, Sherry, and Adrianne have never been anything but kind, patient, and understanding. They truly make a patient feel special, cared for, and well looked after. (I see them every week, as I get allergy shots in the office.) To say that they go above and beyond would be an understatement! I've never been so impressed with a medical practice. It should be noted that I'm presently without health insurance - they're very discreet and incredibly thoughtful about helping me keep expenses down. I'll be going to this office as long as both the practice and I both exist!

Then three months later I felt pain in my chest, and my heart rate was high suddenly. I went to see him again, he said it's nothing, just your muscles and he prescribed muscle relaxer! I took the pills for another week and got worse. Called him, he said maybe your heart then, do the blood test. I did the blood test immediately and then although the test result was normal, he called me and asked me to go to the emergency room on Saturday night at 10 PM! We went to ER, were there until next morning and did lots of tests, and everything was normal (they told me we don't know why he sent you to ER at all but if you like you can ask him to write a CT scan to be sure everything is ok!) I called him to send me a CT scan order he told me I should schedule another appointment and see him again to give me the test order!! I scheduled another appointment and went to see him, and he said ok if you want to do the CT scan here is the order (he could do that without asking me to go and pay for another visit). I told him BTW I had thyroid problems before (he knew that from my files), do you think we should test it too? He said, hm it's not from thyroid but why not, let's test that too! I checked my thyroid, and it was super high!!! Finally, it turned out that it was my thyroid, not my heart or muscles !! I ended up paying 3000$ for ER and 400$ for the office visits !!! I WILL NOT recommend him for anything more than an annual checkup...

The question & answer session with the doc was mostly him answering my questions ...several times he responded, "I know." I was given many strange responses for why I have my ailments, such as I was a starside baby or something, as in coming out of the womb in the wrong direction. I did ask my mother and all who were there, and I was a normal birth. Another statement made was that I injured my knee pretty bad at one time (I did not) and was told I had forgotten it. Interspersed with all that, the doc told me (I kid you not) at least ten times that he is ADHD. I felt I was being asked to see and acknowledge his otherworldly knowledge and brilliance (so different from all all doctors that exist! ) I was told to read a book & purchase a long list of herbal supplements, one of which was birch bark extract. The funny thing is, from the waiting room I could hear a patient before me get advised to take the same thing. Lastly, I was told to see a practitioner for a series of lymphatic massage. I wish I could get my $450 back.
