I can't say enough wonderful things!! I was hesitant to come at first not knowing if I would really…read morebenefit from it. I have been a nurse for 8 years and constantly am telling my patients to heal their pelvic floor after having a baby. After three kids in 5 years , it was time for me to practice what I preach. I realized my DIY pelvic floor rehab was nothing close to their personalized plan for me! Krista is INCREDIBLE!!! She was so patient with my assessment and taught me from the foundation up. I was practically doing all my breathing techniques backwards and would not have known without her assessment. I started therapy having heaviness, pelvic pain, incontinence with simply standing. In 6 short weeks, I can now lift, run, jump, and sneeze without peeing! (this is very exciting as a mom). No more painful intercourse, pelvic pressure, frequent urination or stress incontinence. (these are NOT normal and moms are told they are the price to pay after having baby). Let Norman PT help you - makes all the difference. THANK YOU KRISTA!!

(I have been to other clinics in California as well for comparison; some good some not.) Areas of treatment include: knee/ACL micro tears, shoulder pain/weakness, plantar fasciitis (severe arch pain in the foot), back and neck pain, wrist pain associated with carpel tunnel... there may be a few other things along the road and you can bet I will return there. Debbie McConnell and the other therapist (it has changed over the years for whom I have seen) are always kind and willing to work me in as best they can. Most recently Kate has done dry needling to my upper trap and it has helped my stiff and painful neck. Also, Debbie gently readjusts the rotation along my spine (upper, middle, and lower). Martha and Debbie also have done Astym to my neck, arm, and wrist (not many people are trained to use these tools, but I love how it has helped my carpel tunnel and neck). I am always amazed at how much better I feel when I walk out the door. Also, Debbie is one of the few certified hand therapists in the state. She is also certified in manual lymph drainage. They are a small clinic. It is like Cheers, "where everybody knows your name."

I had made great progress in Physical Therapy until I hit these setbacks and travelled alllll the way back to square one. I was certain I would be out of luck, unable to continue with PT, and that I would just have to deal with it, but Sean's exceptional knowledge and knack for truly caring about his patients led me to fully healing despite the setbacks! He takes great pride in fully understanding where the patient is at in their capabilities, he pushes you just enough, but never too much, and he is extremely patient and understanding of literally everything. I truly thought I'd be in pain forever, but Sean dialed it back and worked with me from Square one all over again, never making me feel like a burden or like it was my fault that my injury had had pulled me all the way back to the beginning. His focus is helping his patients thrive. Though I have had to have Physical Therapy for longer than I anticipated, it is solely because of Valir that I am able to move around without pain and regain the active lifestyle I had prior to surgery. On top of helping my hip heal, Sean's knowledge once again shone through in the exercises he had me do, as they helped me regain balance and strength, and namely core strength on top of healing my hip. I have better balance than I did before surgery! Kim is the front desk Superhero and she manages appointment setting, insurance and everything else, including corresponding with the doctor, obtaining all necessary paperwork, approvals, etc and she is an absolute delight to see every time you walk in. The clinic is and has been taking numerous COVID-19 precautions such as taking your temperature when you walk in, wearing masks themselves and requiring masks for patients, limiting the amount of patients in the clinic at any given time, and sanitizing before and after every patient, including equipment used, and changing pillow cases, etc. The clinic is never hard to reach nor difficult to work with. They truly want to help you feel better! Sean also keeps an upbeat, light-hearted atmosphere with the Weekly Riddle and joke posted on a whiteboard for patients to see while in their sessions. I will only ever come to Valir when needing Physical Therapy!

I spent three weeks at Ignite Medical Resorts Norman, and I can honestly say my experience was…read morenothing short of amazing. From the quality of care to the compassion shown by every staff member, I had nothing but positive interactions throughout my stay. RN Jaime truly stands out. She is incredibly professional, compassionate, and absolutely amazing at patient care. Jaime always maintained a positive attitude and had a wonderful ability to joke and have fun while still being exceptional at her job. She made both patients and families feel genuinely seen and heard. She took the time to get to know me, advocated for my needs, and was an incredible support during the life-changing process of a new amputation--helping me figure out how to begin getting back to daily tasks with confidence and encouragement. RN Tori, even while still being new, was a tremendous help--especially during a snowstorm. Despite challenging circumstances, she remained positive, supportive, and dependable, which made a huge difference during my stay. Anthony, the med tech, was always on time and consistently willing to take a moment to talk and connect. He is incredibly personable with a very kind heart, and his genuine care never went unnoticed. In the kitchen, Karen and Vannah were always helpful and willing to make sure I received the diet I needed--along with a little extra when I needed it. Their kindness and attentiveness made meals something I could truly count on and appreciate. The PT team, Angie and Mandy, did an amazing job making sure I was strong enough, confident, and comfortable before being discharged. Their encouragement, patience, and dedication played a huge role in my progress and recovery. Kayla, part of the admin team, was always on top of everything. She made sure all appointments were scheduled and that transportation was available when needed. Her personality is amazing, and she excels at what she does. She truly treats you like family--whether it's with a silly joke now and then or simply stopping in to say hello. Chelsea, the GM, went above and beyond to ensure I was fully taken care of before discharge. Her leadership, compassion, and attention to detail gave me peace of mind during such an important transition. And finally, Rhonda, the front desk clerk--also known as my favorite barista--was an incredible source of positivity. She made sure anything my family or I needed was handled quickly, and if something wasn't right, she ensured it was fixed within minutes. Her warmth and dedication made a lasting impression and greatly enhanced my overall experience. I am incredibly grateful for the care I received at Ignite Medical Rehab. The staff truly goes above and beyond, and I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of rehabilitation services. The care, kindness, and professionalism here made all the difference. -Ron

i am rewriting this review because it was taken for a fourth time. ***…read moreI will not stop advocating! I lost my loved one here & I am begging everyone to do your own research!!! Multiple people have reported that their loved ones died here do to negligence & thats facts, not opinions. This place needs to be investigated & shut down! The malpractice that is not only going on but trying to be hidden is astonishing! All the staff I encountered was very rude except for one lady. My loved one complained that after hitting the call button staff would take an inconsiderate amount of time to respond leaving my loved one to wait as long as 20-30 minutes at times. Staff claims they are short staffed. I was on the phone with my loved one and I asked what was served for dinner. My loved ones response was "they must have forgotten about me." It was 9:30 at night before someone brought her anything to eat. YELP IS THIS ENOUGH INFORMATION FOR YOU?
