I went here to try to get my replaced knee in better shape. I had been to PT after my surgery, and it didn't make much difference. When I decided to try PT one more time, I researched online trying to find a PT program that gave results. I found RPM and they have made a tremendous difference in my comfort and mobility. I can honestly say every person I've either interacted with or watched work with other clients is top notch. They are professional, caring, kind, intentional, and very knowledgeable and capable. I would recommend RPM to anyone who is looking for physical therapy that works and provides results. It's not cheap, but I think it's worth it. There have a big cafeteria and a few exercise rooms and a pool that patients can use. My father in law came here for rehabbing his legs and they took such great care of him. The staff members are all very nice and very attentive. It's not like some other place that have one nurse to 15 rooms, they are spread out more so that you're not having to wait forever if the patient needs something. Would definitely recommend this facility to anyone needing a quality care rehab facility.

I was taken to this facility by ambulance very late on 22 Sep 25 after falling in my home almost 24…read morehours earlier. When thery found out I hadn't eaten for 2 days they had a tray sent. As a result of the fall I had broken my sacrum which was very painful. I wa treated with kindness by all, from the top right down to the lovely lady who cleaned my room. The trerapists, Physical, Occupational and Speech were all excellent, kind and compassionate. In many hospital stays over my 88 years i have never had such excellent food. Three meals a day over the two weeks I was there were each delicious. I highly recommend and thank Encompass Health Rehab.

I did arrive…read morelate for my appointment but within the parameters I was told when I called due to my concern for arriving late. Sometimes life events get in the way of scheduled times. When I arrived the therapist proceded to give me a good tongue lashing which took a few minutes. I tried to be nice and endure. She then told me my session would be shorter due to arriving late. Finally, getting started, my exercises went fine for 15 minutes during which time she yawned and acted angry, bored or tired, and spent 5 minutes elaborating as to being tired due to having had to deal with a large rat in her attic. 25 minutes before my appointment was due to end, she said we were finished so I gathered my purse and cane and left. I checked the time. I understand the therapist is in charge and in control of their clients but I left feeling extremely bad. I am a widow in my 80s and am struggling to just get by. I will not return to this facility. Surely there is a better way.

This combination leads to physical ailments and has me no stranger to physical therapy. Before moving to the area, I had a physical therapist that I frequently visited in Tampa and I considered him to be the most knowledgable person in the field I'd ever seen. When I moved to Montgomery, a high priority of mine was to find the closest thing to that here. While the PT experience is a bit Apples-to-Oranges, overall, my time spent at Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics has been very helpful. Before starting therapy, I saw a couple of doctors here, who gave me steroid/cortisone injections in my shoulder, which really helped with the immediate discomfort. After that, I started PT, to build up my strength around the problem areas. I was also given a lot of different exercises and stretching to do at home, which I think has been helpful. But the best part of my experience here has been seeing Lucy for dry-needling. Before coming here, I had tried acupuncture once and it was a total waste of time. But dry needling is essentially a targeted version of acupuncture. And it actually works. I hate needles, but I usually barely feel these because they are extremely tiny. Lucy hunts around for the tight muscles and the needle loosens them up fairly immediately. Sometimes, I notice the relief right away, while other times it takes about 24 hours. But either way, the relief is very obvious, especially after multiple sessions. I will definitely be coming back in just for dry needling, which is a flat-rate of, I believe, $40 per visit. And that's worth every penny when you have a physical ailment that just won't go away.

Alan and Matthew gave some great suggestions and physical therapy for my friend with hip problems…read more My friend was in a lot of pain and was getting the royal runaround with others. Alan and Matthew evaluated Dennis well and gave suggestions to other surgeons for hip surgery. We contacted one of the surgeons, who is the first to agree with an operation. Up until then, we were not getting anywhere with the needed surgery to relieve my friend's pain. The physical therapy that was given to him was amazing. I do not know whether it was the cause of my friend's progress. But two weeks after commencing, he was able to take a few steps with the walker. He has not been able to do that after 4 months of other therapy. He is scheduled for operation. He will also get a referral to return to this wonderful and life-saving facility with its compassionate therapists. I watched some of the workouts and could see the purpose (although limited for the degenerated hips and limited mobility that has been progressively getting worse over years!). Anyway, thank you to Matthew and Alan. I really appreciate the work that you do.
