My husband and I workout at this gym and I've seen a total body transformation in less than a year. Jeremy is a top notch trainer who really works on form and safety with every student, which is so important since I'm not 20 anymore! Also everyone here is super nice and encouraging. So if you're new to weight training (like I was) it was a really supportive environment to grow.

I would highly recommend Physical Culture. Just a super clean, well laid out strength & conditioning gym with new equipment and an amazing trainer. It also has a good community, we laugh, lift, and everyone is supportive and generally encouraging. Everyone is working at getting stronger on their own level. I have to thank Jeremy personally... I used to be physically fit and active for most of my life but after a hiatus from the gym that started with the pandemic and lasted until my young kids finally were able to sleep through the night... I was really excited to find a way back into the gym. In a short period of time, Jeremy has already helped me build up my strength and physical fitness but considerably helped with my range of motion and agility too. He is easily the most experienced trainer in the central coast area so I feel pretty lucky to have him in the Paso Robles area. If your looking for a really well rounded workout that incorporates barbell lifts, kettlebells and bodyweight exercises, then this is for you. Generally the lifts cycles change every 4 weeks, and Jeremy is a true tactician. So he's always got something new and fun up his sleeves to try on his classes.

Physical Culture is a fantastic gym and community that helps you build the strong foundations for functional strength in your every day life. You not only get stronger but learn the proper technique so that you're less likely to injure yourself. As a triathlete and runner recovering from knee surgery, I've seen a noticeable growth in my strength to help me become faster and stable.

At least in the pool side building. the temperature is regularly 75+ in there and there are no fans circulating air. It makes it pretty difficult to focus and get and workout to the extent I would like. I find myself calling it quits earlier just due to uncomfortabilty. I enjoy the setup here and how it's not crowded but especially in the summer months I would surely appreciate at least a fan or two to circulate some air. I sure hope they are able to do something about the temperature/air circulation in there soon.

They also have saunas in both the male and females locker rooms. There is a large outdoor space for gatherings or just to hang out with friends, as well as a full service cafe. This place really has it all!! There are a lot of classes available including karate, tai chi, aquafit, barre, cycle, sculpt and even reformer pilates! So there's truly a class for everyone. Paula, who teaches various classes including yogalates, restorative yoga, and gentle hatha yoga is absolutely amazing! So friendly, patient, kind and just one of the best yoga teachers around! Love, love, love this place so much! Thanks, PRSC!

It's good to see that most people are using them, which makes a big difference. My main concern is the air quality in the workout area. It often feels stuffy and humid, which can be uncomfortable especially during busier hours. I worry a bit about the lack of airflow, particularly in a space where people are breathing heavily or may not always be feeling 100%. It just seems like better air circulation would make the environment feel healthier and more pleasant. They do have those large overhead fans that are great when they're running high enough to really move the air that's a possible solution, if they could be set a little higher during peak times. The locker room, on the other hand, is great clean, well-kept, and comfortable Edit: Hi, thanks for your response. I was under the impression this WAS reaching out to the appropriate staff, as this message came from Planet Fitness Customer Service. I'd appreciate it if you could please forward this concern to the management team at this location, as proper air circulation really impacts the workout experience. Thank you

My problem is with some members that don't know anything about gym etiquette. When I'm training and moving from station to station, I'll see some WINNER sitting on the ONLY incline bench there and he's doing more with his phone than training. The employees walk past him without saying a word. I'll buy these guy's memberships if they'll let me kick them out! I need to train and get ready for work.

(Josiah…read more Campos) For a couple of weeks, I had been communicating back and forth with someone at the front desk specifically about purchasing an eight-class pack--not a monthly membership. Unfortunately, I was instead charged for a month-to-month membership for eight classes per month. When I called to explain the misunderstanding, the front desk staff member was kind, understanding, and told me that it shouldn't be a problem to issue a refund, but that I would need to speak with the studio manager. Unfortunately, my experience with the manager, Josiah Campos, was completely different. I found him to be dismissive and unhelpful, and he refused to refund the charge or offer any reasonable resolution, including putting the classes back on my account. Given the prior communication with the front desk and the clear misunderstanding about what I intended to purchase, I was very disappointed by the way the situation was handled. The front desk staff I interacted with were wonderful, but my experience with the studio manager left a very negative impression. Good customer service is often about how misunderstandings are handled, and unfortunately, I did not feel that this situation was handled professionally or with any effort to retain a customer. I would encourage others to be very clear about what they are purchasing and to carefully review any charges from this studio.
