The pool is useless if you are serious swimmer. Frequently 90°, I'm overheating after 300 yards. This pool is for geriatrics and kids. Also for their pool parties but not for real swimmers. Workout area is great, lots of racks. I hate the lighting though. The ceiling is covered in outdoor parking lights. I don't think it bothers anyone else but it's offensive to me. I wish there were designated stretching areas but you can stretch in front of your rack if that's where you are working out otherwise you just have to find a space. The locker room is bad, too crowded. Not enough lockers. Not enough toilets. The sauna - horrible. It only holds 8 people at a time, the steam room is even worse 5, if that. The showers are decent, plenty of room to do what you need to do. I've only done cycle classes, they are basically HITT workouts high RPM, High heart rate, but only 45 minutes. There as a recovery area where there are massage chairs, Normatec goodies for use and hyperice massage guns....and vibration plates. Very nice! Is it worth it. When I answered, the hiring manager(I assume, she didn't bother introducing herself) conducted a phone screening but came across as impatient and condescending throughout the conversation. Many of my answers were met with responses such as "umm, okay," which made the interaction feel dismissive and unprofessional. I understand that recruiters are often busy and screening many candidates, but first impressions matter. Regardless of whether someone is hired, applicants deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect.

For example, their CS4 circuit classes target your lower body majority of the time, so if you are a runner then you risk overtraining legs or if you want an upper body workout then you have to just go to their overcrowded weights area. What especially sucks is their hours. They close early on the weekends at 6 pm. Especially during the summer when the sun sets around 7:30pm, you're not really able to get a night gym sesh in. The new shower products are an upgrade from the old ones. The reason my rating is low; The main issue I have here is that I frequently see people taking selfies in the locker room. I used to complain about it, but management doesn't seem to do anything. I get an email that it's serious or a phone call and I appreciate it, but nothing seems to happen. Just today, I went through the locker room to go to the party that the gym was having, and I saw a girl taking selfies in the locker room. Other women were changing there, so it wasn't like she was all alone. It's super easy to get photos of people changing in the background. I have easily seen people taking selfies in the locker room at least a dozen of times in the last couple years. We change there. We don't have our clothes on. Why is it okay to take a photo? Even if you aren't intending to photograph others, which most people aren't, people can easily show up in the background. It makes me so uncomfortable. I avoid changing in the locker room now, or if I do, I try to hide in the back. Changing in the bathroom stalls isn't easy because things can fall into the toilet and changing in the shower is wet and the showers sometimes get crowded. It has decreased how much I value this gym, and I am hesitant to recommend it to others. I pay a lot for the gym and amenities, but if I have to constantly look over my shoulder, it ruins the experience. And when I do shower here, I have to bring clothes I can immediately change into in the shower to minimize walking around undressed in case someone decides to take a selfie and I happen to be in the reflection in the mirror. This also limits my ability to do stuff in the locker room like put lotion on. If I complain, I feel l get labeled as a "Karen". Staff doesn't seem to care. People get upset if you talk to them, and I shouldn't have to. I get emails from management that they take this seriously, but if they did they could at least put prominent signs on the mirrors in the locker rooms or have staff members remind women in the locker room not to take photos.

I've been an athlete for most of my life. Through high school and college, I was lucky enough to get exposure to high level trainers, coaches, and nutritionists. Having put in work here for a few months now, I can confidently say that my trainer is very knowledgeable and knows how to efficiently get the results I want. These days I'm in my mid-30s and want to pack on some muscle and a little extra weight so I can squeeze out a few more years of playing rugby and minimize the possibility of injuries. The club is spacious, bright, well designed, and easy to access. I appreciate the towel service, the layout, and how convenient it is to get in and out. Overall, it has been a great place to work out, and that is why I have remained a loyal member for several years. As I began bringing family members with me, however, I noticed a few areas where I believe the club could become even better. One of the biggest opportunities for improvement is the addition of a family restroom. Some families, including those caring for minors or individuals with disabilities or other support needs, may require assistance from a caregiver of the opposite sex. A dedicated family restroom would make the club much more accessible and welcoming. As more families are living with autism and other developmental disabilities, I believe this would be a valuable addition that reflects the needs of today's community. I also have a few suggestions that I think would make an already great club even better: * Add a family restroom. * Reopen the additional court that has been closed for a long time, potentially increasing pickleball availability. * Open and utilize the dedicated training area for glute-focused workouts, similar to other LA Fitness locations. * Offer specialized glute and core fitness classes. * Consider adding group martial arts classes such as kickboxing or Taekwondo. I believe these would attract many new members and make this location stand out even more. Overall, I still enjoy this club and plan to continue my membership. The facility is excellent, and the management has generally been supportive and helpful.

OVERVIEW: This is my…read morefavorite LA Fitness location in the Irvine / Lake Forest area. It's not perfect, but no place is ever perfect. PROS: - I LOVE THE SQUAT RACK ROOM !!! IT was an excellent business idea to transform that space from a basketball court to a dedicated area for leg workouts. - The venue is physically large. So you've lots of room for specialized training and stretching, even if the yoga room is in session. - In addition to the aforementioned dedicated squat rack / leg training room, this facility has all of the weight training equipment you can imagine, all the way down to kettlebell sets. - The health drink bar is a GREAT addition. My daughter loves the drinks there. I'm not sure if the bar is making any profit, but I hope that this bar is for the long-term. CONS: - This place can get crowded. Also, the general vibe of the place changes entirely based on the time you are there. Since it's so close to Woodbridge HS, the broccoli-haired teens will swarm the place after 2:30 PM. Lunchtime will get you the senior citizen crowd and a bunch of dudes from the Irvine Fire Department, (who are actually cool guys) Good luck with the after work crowd as well. Get there in the early morning and you get those fanatics who are hitting personal best goals each day and those highly motivated people who want to squeeze in an hour of training before work. So actually, the best time to go there is: (This probably applies to most gyms as well) A) Around 9 AM to 11:30 AM when many have gone to work or school, and before the senior citizens arrive. B) 12:45 PM to 2:30 PM when the crowd goes back to work, the senior citizens go home and before the high school kids arrive. C) 8:30 PM to closing as the crowd thins down. - There can be a lot of muscle heads and women who want to film themselves and their assets while working out. This demographic can spend too much time on a machine, which can be frustrating if you have to wait forever for them to finish so you can use the same machine.

She's really good at teaching and works all body parts and joints. She always reminds us of our posture so we do our exercises correct. The women's locker room can be improved. The shower stall have weak water pressure and some of the shower heads barely have any water. They also redid the soap dispenser and I feel the soap doesn't do a good job at cleaning so I have to bring me own. Due to lots of use at this gym the locker room and shower areas are always wet and there's hair and remnants of trash everywhere. However, this gym is very busy and with people who have questionable gym etiquette. You'll often see guys working out with their shirts off, saving 2 machines at once with their gym bag on one, and on their phone on the other, while flexing into their selfie sticks. It wouldn't be a big deal if this gym wasn't constantly busy, but it is. It doesn't matter what time of day you come, it's always full. Today, there was a hot pink Lamborghini parked in the handicap spot directly in front of the door. Really? I have tried multiple times to resolve this directly, including emailing the studio, 3rd party billing and the manager, but literally no one trom the studio has responded to me in writing confirming cancellation.
