Good morning Dr Hollis....I want to say thank you before I started my day this am. As a surgeon and a busy physician you know how crucial the function of my body and being pain free allows for a attentive physician. Well I came to you last night in unbearable lower back pain and IT band syndrome from my workouts and travel. Haven't being able to sleep the last three nites. Well last nite I slept hard as a rock and no pain at all. I don't know how those hands with the push and pulling and the other modalities you do work but I can honestly say I am back because of you. Dr. Corey Hollis, who is a Chiropractor and owns Physica, helped me immensely with my back pain and shoulder pain, which started in 2013. My brother, who is an MD, had told my problems were due to age and could not be fixed, and that I would never be able to do heavy weight training again, and I would have to live with the pain. But in less than 20 sessions, after starting with Dr. Hollis in Dec. 2017, he fixed my problems, through therapy and focused weight training. I AM SO GRATEFUL! I can now work out normally, and I haven't had those pains since then. I was sent to Dr.Hollis, (Corey) by my a coworker after hurting my back in 2012 and Corey has been instrumental in my recovery. In addition to his physical therapy sessions Corey has made a workout program to get me not only back on my feet but in better physical shape then I was before the accident. Corey has had me on a great workout program and I have gained muscle, I'm more flexible and lost a lot of weight. His team has put me on a well organized eating program to aid my fitness program. I will forever be a Physica member, and I owe my good health to him and his team of well trained physical fitness trainers. Well , it took a while to find him , but now am here. This events happened about 12 years ago . I never had the chance to post about Mrs Hollis . I got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis about 12 years ago . This Man with knowing me treated me with not a single penny in return. He tough me how to walk again. I spent about 8 months with him , nothing in return just pure generosity on his behalf. I also remember Milo and Andres they were so nice to me. I wish I can pay Mrs Hollis back . Thank you Physica! I had a frozen shoulder, also called adhesive capsulitis, from a ligament tear in my right shoulder. My range of motion was very limited and I was dealing with a lot of pain and stiffness affecting all aspects of my daily life even my sleep. I feel very lucky to be able to work with Dr. Corey Hollis. A genuinely good guy who helped me recover from my injury. Here is what stood out: -HE CARES. He is definitely passionate about helping his patients recover. I went a different physical therapist before coming to Physica, and all they did was stretch me out a little, then tell me to do some other stretches on my own, and then send me on my way. I absolutely love Physica, and I recommend it to all my family and friends. I drive a total of 4 hours to come here because the wonderful staff and exemplary care. This is the second clinic I have visited after my knee surgery but the first time I've seen and felt improvements. Dr. Hollis brought me back to life! I was in a horrible accident in August 2019 and started seeing him soon after. Before that horrible experience I was very active; I trained 5 days a week doing heavy lifting and cardio and worked on my feet for at least 10 hours. I was worried I'd never get back to "normal." Dr. Hollis was very patient with me. He worked with me slowly and progressed me as I started to improve. He pushed me when I needed it and had faith in me even when I was doubting myself. He's extremely knowledgeable and experienced and explained to me what was happening within my body. Jhonny is an absolute master at what he does. I've had the pleasure of knowing him for about 7 years now. There's really no one else I've come across in the industry that has the knowledge and passion that he has for fitness. And his studio in Irvine is a really great size and has every piece of equipment that u could want. (including TRX, which I have a major love/hate with lol) Not only will he kick ure butt while training, but he will also give u great guidance on nutrition. He's always willing to answer a question, no matter what time of the day. As long as u listen to his advice and trust the process, there's no way u can fail on ure fitness goals. I've been training with Jhonny for a couple of months now. I took a bit of a break from it cuz I'm an esthetician and own my own spa and my time was just becoming less and less. But I realized very quickly, how much I need my time with him and how I have to MAKE the time for him. Skincare and body care go hand in hand. I can't be preaching to my clients about how important it is to take care of themselves, and then not do it for myself as well. Practice what u preach right?!
