We actually stopped the Director, Dorly Cue at an art gallery in McKinney and she stopped her conversations and just talked to us for like an hour about what we wanted for our photos. She came to our house and did pictures of me, my mom, and my sister. Well the photos were amazing! Then she designed this entire photography wall at mom's house (that was an extra charge-not cheap) and she came the next weekend and had someone hang everything up. It was so easy! The whole thing from the time we met her until the photos were framed and hung was two weeks people! Then when I was pregnant we asked Dorly if she could do a mural in the nursery. So I sent her some ideas on pinterest and she sketched some up with another artist that works with her company. Once we agreed on some colors back she comes with the artist/painter and her assistant. Between the three of them the mural was done in two days! It was again less than two weeks from the time I said "Can you do this?" to the time everything was done. She's a really nice lady and I recommend her to everyone. The only thing I would say is she takes around 1-2 days to answer emails so that can be a little bit of a concern if you're on a tight deadline and she's all the way in Plano so if you can't drive out there then you're going to be on the phone or on Skype a lot.

I was definitely uncomfortable with having my picture taken and knew that I'd never look as awesome as the people in David's samples. They made me feel very comfortable. When I got the proofs back, I was shocked that I could look that good (photoshop or no). Our initial meeting was impressive; both Megan and Jane met with me to discuss what we wanted to capture during our birth experience. Taking the time to spend over an hour with us vs. just emailing over pricing information spoke volumes. They truly connected with us. It didn't hurt that they are both super fun to be around! I went through three weeks of prodromal labor, with several trips to the hospital. Each time, Megan was ready and waiting for my call for her to come. She continuously checked in on me to make sure I was doing well, even on Christmas Eve and when the tornadoes came through! We opted to have Blush Little Baby document our labor and birth experience, the "Fresh 48" when our two year old came to the hospital to meet his baby brother, and our newborn and family session. The patience and attention to detail that Megan demonstrated throughout our entire birth experience was priceless. Her easy going demeanor made me forget she was even there at times! We joked that we would love to have her come over every night to put out newborn to bed; she is the baby whisperer! The quality of our photographs are truly amazing. I cried when I saw them. If you sign up for the emails, they have little specials often. Like a 30 minute session for $20 for 1 free digital photo. Adding on extra photos cost per photo. (We did an Easter special that happened to be during her 9 months that we tacked on) They also offer printed and canvas photos. They have a small wardrobe. I believe mostly maternity, but some children's outfits. We donated one of our girl's outfits. The photographer at the 3 months seemed fresh on the job and her skills lacked. The 2nd photographer at the 6 months, Lindsey was talented. We requested her for our 9 months. She wasn't still there when we came back for our 12 months. The owner herself took our photos, and they where beautiful too. I am an armature photographer myself, and took a few courses in college. Wasn't my passion, but I have a bit of a picky eye now. The owners style was nice, meh on the editing. I had some spanks showing in a photo I wish they edited out. I still bought that photo. I really liked Lindsey and wish they kept her. Her interaction with us and our kid was awesome. Her photo style and backdrop/ prop ideas was also amazing. She tried ideas and suggestions I had. Let me see her screen to decide if I want to retake a pose or move on. Fixed little things she saw through the lens that I didn't notice while trying to get my kid to smile/ giggle.
