Sold in a Snap came to my house to take pictures my realtor wanted to post on MLS listing…read more Unfortunately, they sent a trainee, and it was quite obvious that they did not know how to correctly take photographs, had no training in photography, or which lens to use (she used a 35mm & not a wide angle). The images imo were not by a professional photographer: they took multiple pictures of the practically the same view. Great shot of our washer and dryer, but not the laundry room. A direct shot of our dining table, instead of standing to the side in order to see the dining room in its entirety. Great shot of a floor lamp at the entrance of one bedroom, instead of standing in another corner in order for the whole bedroom to be in the picture. It appears nobody with professional photography experience critiqued this trainee's work Before sending it on to my realtor. They were going to charge extra in order to come out for a re-shoot. Don't waste your $$ unless you know & have experience with specific photographers from Sold in a Snap. Do not accept the trainee until they have gone to multiple photography courses & have received honest feedback on their work. For some reason, nobody had the guts to speak up to trainee About this particular shoot.

I cannot recommend Petra Novak Boudoir enough…read more This experience was about so much more than beautiful, sexy photos -- it was empowerment at the highest level. I have struggled with body image for most of my life. I was a bigger girl from a young age, and even after losing 140 pounds and going through surgery, I still carried an old image of myself in my mind. I kept putting off booking a session -- telling myself I would do it after I lost 30 more pounds, after I was more toned, after I felt "ready." Please hear me when I say: don't wait. From the moment I arrived, Petra and Diana made me feel completely at ease. The studio atmosphere was warm, fun, and uplifting. Diana made me feel absolutely beautiful -- even better than I imagined -- and Petra took the time to truly understand my style and personality. She guided every pose so naturally that what I feared would feel awkward actually felt empowering and authentic. When Petra showed me the first images on the back of her camera, I was in shock. The woman I saw was radiant. Strong. Beautiful. She didn't look like the version I carried in my head. For the first time, I started to see myself differently. What I didn't expect was how much this would impact my marriage. Watching my husband see the images -- the way he looked at me with pure love and adoration -- was incredibly moving. At our reveal session, he immediately knew which images he wanted enlarged and in the album. He was anxiously waiting for the app and still gets the sweetest grin when he looks at the photos. He doesn't see the "flaws" I see. He sees me as beautiful and beloved. With Petra and Diana's help, I was able to glimpse myself through his eyes -- and that has been life-changing. If you're nervous, shy, or think you need to change something about yourself first... don't. Do it now. And then maybe do it again later. You deserve to be celebrated exactly as you are. This wasn't just a photo session. It was healing. It was empowering. And it reignited a spark in our marriage that I will always be grateful for.

Gotta start by saying, McKenzie is awesome!!…read more I had been searching online for WEEKS wanting to have maternity / family pictures taken, but after waiting and waiting for responses from several photographers who I'd sent emails to, I decided to keep searching... and so glad I did!! I sent an email through her website, and she responded the same day, giving me clear and concise answers to my questions. Being 8.5 months pregnant by the time I found her, I literally could have gone into labor any day. She totally understood my "condition" lol, and her flexibility with scheduling us at our convenience was greatly appreciated!! She went above and beyond in every way possible... from choosing an outdoor location, to helping me with clothing choices, to providing props, and more... DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! ****The Katie package is for a maternity + a newborn session... regarding my maternity photos, they turned out absolutely perfect!!! Will update soon with the results of the newborn photos : )

I have to start with saying that I am a super cynical person and a perfectionist. Normally I don't…read morewrite reviews or gush when someone does the job they were paid to do. With that being said... here is why you need to hire Nate Richey: My husband and I decided to skip the extravagant pricey venue and get married in our backyard with our closest friends and family. We wanted our special day to be very casual while still being intimate, beautiful, and a ton of fun for our guests. We spent most of our attention on decorating the backyard and spent the entire wedding day smoking over 100 pounds of meat (oh yeah, you heard me... pork, brisket, rabbit, chicken, sausage... you name it) and an array of other goodies for our guests. Our day turned out so wonderfully and we couldn't have been more blessed. The weather was amazing, our guests were amazing, and everyone had such a great time. Now on to Mr. Nate Richey... We'd heard great things about Nate's drone videography skills and thought it would be super fun to commission Nate to capture some "overhead video" of our casual little event. He asked us if we wanted some "regular video from the ground" as well, and of course we were happy to oblige and see what he could capture for us. The wedding party started early and lasted all day long....ALL. DAY. LONG. The day was so busy and fun that I barely noticed that Nate spent the entire day behind the camera and had been recording video and images throughout the entire event. We never realized the extent of what he had captured until he presented it to us a day later. No, not even a day later. Less than 24 hours later. We adore Richey Aspects because Nate went above and beyond what we needed and beyond what our imaginations were capable of. He made our cozy, rustic, frugal little Wedding day look ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and super chic. We never gave him any instructions or indicators of what we wanted the "look" to be or what to get footage of... honestly we are way too laid back and had no idea what to tell him to do. Thankfully Nate is a professional and knew exactly what to do and what to capture from the very start. He captured everything with such incredible attention to detail and used some kind of sorcery to make our day look so timeless and lovely. Plus the music that he added into the video was absolutely wonderful. I'm addicted to watching our wedding video now. Seriously. It's been about 2 months since we got married and I've stopped wearing mascara so I can sneak the video into my day without evidence staining my cheeks. Also, I have to repeat that it took Nate less than 24 hours to create this beautiful work of art for us. I need to share this so you can see what I am talking about and see why you need to use Nate Richey if you want an artist to capture your beautiful memories. Our Wedding Video (RicheyAspects): https://youtu.be/IjM6-D-Kub0 We are in awe of Nate's eye for detail and we will be calling him for all future photography and videography services. Don't even take a second to think about it. Do it. This man is amazing and extremely talented. Nate Richey, you have our business for life. Thank you again for all of your help, your dedication, and your expertise. - Pris & Rob
