He always responded quickly and professionally. He also took the time to come out to our property. (We got married at a family ranch in Redwood Valley) He even took the time to make recommendations for bands we could use. Bobby was always so calm, cool, and collected, just what a bride needed on her wedding day. Bobby got our pictures back so quickly! We were looking at the pictures while on a beach on our honeymoon. The pictures were amazing and they are something we will always treasure. He captured our special day perfectly! We know if we ever want to capture special moments in our lives we will be going back to Bobby. We highly recommend Bobby for any of your photography needs!

He is flexible in the way he works (outcall, availability, formal/informal), and easy to be around. I hate "staged" photos, and he easily works around that, and evokes laughter and spontaneity. He has a knack for being "invisible" at the right times, and yet getting the great shot. His editing is quick turnover, and he has also helped me/us with special orders, custom projects, etc. I highly recommend him for portraits, weddings/ceremony, holiday cards, website, and probably much more.

She captured my maternity photos and has continued to photograph our family ever since. Every session is relaxed, fun, and full of genuine moments, she always brings out the best in us. Hollie is more than just a photographer, she's become a dear friend. She truly cares about the people she works with and builds lasting relationships. That connection shines through in her photos. While she's captured our family memories, I've seen her incredible talent across the board. Maternity, newborns, weddings, school portraits, she has done it all, and she done it beautifully. She has a natural gift, especially with babies, and a true eye for capturing meaningful moments. She will always be our family photographer, and I recommend Photography by Hollie to anyone looking for someone genuine, talented, and kind. She's one of a kind.

I will forever call her The Baby Whisperer, she was instantly able to calm him down and lull him to sleep for those perfect Pinterest worthy newborn photos. She captured those fleeting newborn moments so beautifully. She had all of the props clean and ready for my family. She has hats, wraps, and outfits- all I needed to bring was my baby. She posed him perfectly, and also posed us as a family and made us feel very comfortable. I am a wedding photographer so newborn photos were very important to me- but I wanted a photographer who specialized in babies. Hollie is the only photographer in Mendocino County who specializes in newborns, and is the only person I would trust with my baby. We will treasure these pictures for our entire lifetime! Working with Hollie was an absolute pleasure.

I like that they are a wife and husband team providing ample coverage for all of the important photo moments. I used to do wedding photography/family portraits and we had three other professional photographer friends attending the wedding. (We wanted those friends to enjoy the wedding, not work it!). The other photographers there, as well as other guests really liked Maile and Neils and their coverage of our wedding. None of them complained of things they should've done differently. Several guests asked us for their cards. They weren't at all obnoxious and in your face all of the time. They let us enjoy our big day while ensuring they got all of the important shots. We loved their web posting of many shots and their little story about our wedding on their blog. It was great to see pictures so soon--during our honeymoon. Besides the quality we saw in their work, the reasons we selected Larsens as our photographers was because of the value received and the short turn around time. Their price was a bit better than most AND included prints plus EVERY shot on a thumb drive. Most photographers charge a lot extra for this. Plus, we received the items right after we returned from our 2 week honeymoon. Some photographers take months to get pictures out. Maile and Neils are great photographers and very nice people to boot!

Comprised of incredible husband and wife duo, Niels and Maile, this pair was truly an invaluable component of our special day, helping make it one of the most magical experiences of our entire lives. My husband and I knew early on we wanted a photographer tag-team if possible, to capture more ground and key moments throughout the wedding. These two, however, exceeded our wildest expectations! From the moment I reached out after admiring their stunning work online, Maile was not only super responsive, but incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. I knew almost immediately Larsen's was our ideal partner. Over the months leading up to the big day, Maile sent a host of thoughtful, supportive emails, and was great about walking me through all the details and providing lots of great tips and information. On the day itself, Maile and Niels helped both my husband and I stay calm, smile, and laugh--even during the most stressful moments. They really went above and beyond in every sense of the word (our guests could not get over the creative poses they displayed on the dance floor in order to get the best shots of speeches and dances!). Even after all of that, the best was yet to come. Maile worked ever so quickly to draft a beautiful photo blog profiling our day, and deliver to us a beautiful slideshow (with music!) and several discs and drives filled with countless amazing photos. Their website does not do their work justice by any means--our loved ones are still ranting and raving about how stunning the photos are! These cherished mementos are some of the only tangible elements of our wedding that will help tell our story in ways words never could for years to come. For all these reasons, we can never thank the Larsen's enough for being such phenomenal partners whose passion for their craft is unmistakable. Highly, highly, highly recommended!!

She was with us the entire action-packed day starting with a walk in the redwoods, a picknick at a winery and even went out on a kayak with us as we free-dove the kelp and explored some other features of the coast. What a great sport! I doubt many photographers would do that, on top of having great skills. I can't thank her enough for helping us our special day, and for capturing it all so well.
