The customer service is great, Chastity was able to have a lens ready to go for me on the same day that I ordered. The rental fee is reasonable; I do think that the local pickup fee is a bit odd, especially because it's a location that LensFly chooses. Regardless, this is a great service that I recommend for photographers. Overall, I would use LensFly again. The lens I rented was in excellent condition and convinced me that this will be my next investment.

This is not a heavily reviewed category on Yelp so I briefly read the reviews and picked Chao. Easy to find on 3rd St at the beach. It's in the same plaza as Metro Diner but at the other end. We popped in on a Saturday and were promptly greeted and attended to. We were able to look around a bit but also received some suggestions on what the staff thought would look nice which is always appreciated. We had it narrowed down to a few options and then talked amongst ourselves to make the final selection. The nice young lady entered the order into the computer and the manager or owner stepped in and told her to apply a discount which was super cool. They told us our order would be ready in a couple of weeks and sure enough they called on time to inform us it was ready. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, super selection of frames to choose from and the quality of the work was terrific!
