There are not very many options for internet, cable, and phone services here in North Liberty,…read morewhich can sometimes mean people are unhappy with the service they receive. This is so not the case when it comes to South Slope! I have used them for internet services for the last four years and I can not recall one outage. They also came over and set things up promptly each time I moved to a new apartment, and were happy to explain any questions I had along the way.

They're refusing to refund me. I was not told or shown anything regarding this during installation. I have been paying via auto-pay and honestly just trusted that my bill was accurate. Very poor customer service in this regard. I will be switching my provider and looking into small-claims court. Extremely disappointing since I grew up with this company. Apparently it's gone downhill without Frances then JR. Also, I've never had great experience with their internet quality. I know some have, however. I had a very disappointing experience at EZ Solution, North Liberty, IA, North Liberty, IA…read more On 12/09/2025, I took my Laptop to the North Liberty office, for what should have been a simple fan replacement. Even though the issue was clearly explained, the employee insisted I pay a $100 diagnostic fee before they would even look at it. Later, I received a call saying the hard drive supposedly needed to be replaced instead, for nearly $300. When I went back to pick up the laptop, the same employee -- who kept his face mostly hidden under a hoodie -- seemed irritated that I asked to see the laptop powered on. The moment he turned it on, it made an even louder and more alarming noise than before. Since they couldn't fix the laptop, he offered to replace it with an used refurbished laptop. On my third visit, I simply asked whether the diagnostic fee could be applied toward the repair cost. At that point, the employee became hostile, raised his voice, threatened to call the police, called me names, and refused to complete the transaction until the owner arrived. I related this sad story to the company owner, paid requested amount, and left the place without any apology.

I love graphic design. In another life, I would design…read more I am one of those, 'I can do it myself' type people-- especially when it comes to creating brochures, posters, invitations, etc. WELL... I just recently learned that while that is true MOST of the time. SOME of the time, I need a little help. Luckily, Allegra came to my rescue. I designed a front and back party invitation for my mother-in-law's birthday. (If I say so myself, it was pretty stylin.) I tried to upload it from home to print elsewhere with no prevail. The image kept showing up blurry and I couldn't remedy it. *** Let me preface all of this with, I am a millennial. I prefer emails, text messages... online communication. *** SO I searched the internets for a local fix to my problem that WOULDN'T require me to pack up my toddler to head to a store. Alas, Allegra. I uploaded my file, sent a quick message outlining my issue and telling them what I wanted printed. I got a quick reply from the Graphic Design Manager informing me that they found the file to be blurry, too. I couldn't fix it on my end, so I sent them permission to the document via Canva. BOOM. They fixed it. Had it printed in hours. Sarah and Celeste were BEYOND helpful. My invitations looked better than even I imagined. Sometimes you need a little help, if you find yourself in that situation-- Allegra has got you covered!
