I had a terrible experience with this phone repair business and want to warn others before they go here. I brought my phone in because the camera was taking blurry pictures, and I specifically asked for the actual camera to be replaced. Instead, they took my phone off-site from Seguin to another shop in San Antonio without clearly explaining that beforehand. Later, they called me saying the camera was "broken," but instead of replacing the camera like I requested, they replaced only the camera lens and then tried charging me even more money for work that was never agreed to. The original issue was never actually fixed. When I told them I wanted my phone returned in the same condition and that I was not paying for unauthorized work that did not solve the problem, they turned my phone off and refused to give it back unless I paid. This was a horrible experience from start to finish. In my opinion, you are dealing with a middleman rather than an actual repair shop. Poor communication, unauthorized repairs, and holding a customer's phone over disputed charges is completely unacceptable. I would strongly recommend staying away from this place. read more

I dropped my Motorola stylus on the upper corner and shattered the glass. As a dude who needs a phone all the time (I'm a caregiver) I was in a jam. The peeps at the T-Mobile store recommended The Phone Guru which I promptly took my phone over there. The guys there were super friendly and were able to help me. The wait was a bit longer that I expected but when I got my phone back, it was as if I never broke it. The phone works great and it looks as good as new. I tested the phone when I got home. Called austin because my galaxy s8 plus wouldn't charge anymore I thought I would have to spend a lot of money to fix it I went into the store austin could've charged me $300 for this repair and I was ready to pay it but he showed me another option where my phone could be charged wirelessly and sold me the wireless charger for $10 really honest service and was super fast he was taking care of everyone in a professional matter all the customers in the store loved him when I was there really good guy thanks austin will he bringing more business your way read more

This is where I took my iPhone X when a green streak started showing up permanently. The AT&T shop said I needed a new phone. After telling him my AT&T plan was retired and I didn't want to change plans he told me that if it was his Mom he'd tell her to go to a cell phone fix it store. Austin took my phone and looked at the thing where I put my charger in. Turns out, there was just dust stuck inside my phone! Took my Note10 in to the Phone Guru to have the camera lens and back cover replaced due to them being cracked. They repaired the phone for a reasonable price. The phone was not complete by the promised time, but the owner went out of his way and delivered the phone to me later that evening. I recommend using Phone Guru.
