I drove to his shop from Austin and he repaired the boards I was bringing him on the spot ! All the other Austin places I had contacted had a long wait time and much higher prices. For Austin people yes he's in Canyon Lake but he'll do a much better job than most shops, he'll do it faster and probably cheaper. You can also ship him the broken electronics, which will probably be faster and cheaper even with shipping time/costs than to get someone in Austin with a long wait time charging a premium to do the job. Daniel's also very nice and patient, which can't be said for most similar shops. And most importantly he's honest - he recommended to *not* repair one of the logic boards I had brought him even if he would have made money doing it. Highly recommended.

I walked in, smiled, and said, "Hi, how are you?" I was ignored. Thinking maybe she didn't hear me, I asked again. Instead of even the most basic courtesy, I was met with hostility. The older woman working there looked at me like I was an idiot and spoke to me with complete contempt. I have never felt so unwelcome in a place of business. To make matters worse, the store smelled like an ashtray. Between the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke and the unbelievably rude customer service, it was one of the most unpleasant customer experiences I've ever had. There is absolutely no excuse for treating another human being the way I was treated. Everyone has bad days, but that does not give anyone the right to belittle or disrespect customers. If this is the owner, I sincerely hope she reflects on how she treats people because it is unacceptable. If she is an employee, management should seriously consider whether this is the kind of person they want representing their business.
