Our first time at Swiss Airport. It's definitely bigger than the Honolulu Airport and a little…read moreconfusing for us, so you really have to slow down and read signs to not get lost. I think that the Swiss Airline company should reevaluate the ticket agent area. There was a long line with only 2 agents checking in flyers. After a good 30 minutes of waiting, one agent had to leave to move the gate area as she is also a flight attendant flying, who is flying with us. The one good thing that happened during our quick stop in the airport is this guy on the photo. I don't know his name but look at his friendly smile! He made our day despite the chaotic run around. He deserves this spotlight for sharing with us his friendly smile and attitude. The second best thing that happened during our trip from Milan to Zurich is our flight attendant, Zuzana. Our flight on September 13th, flight number LX1629 at 2:55pm. She is the epitome of what an amazing flight attendant is!!! I don't have a photo with Zuzana but she made our trip of the most memorable experience during our air time. Thank you, Zuzana!!! One note that I want to share is that if you're flying from Switzerland to Italy or anywhere in Europe, you must have check their carryon luggage rule. This is a fabulous used book store. They have books in German, English, French, and I'm sure many…read moreother languages. I was able to find books on railroads, architecture, photography, and history that I liked enough to overload my luggage and bring home. Thankfully, SWISS overlooked the extra 2kg on my checked luggage and my massively overweight carry-ons! The woman working the front is fantastic and I could easily speak with her in English, which helped me greatly. They sell the rarer books via ABE, but keep them in a warehouse close by the store. She gladly went and fetched some that she thought would be of interest to me. I eagerly seek used bookstores in every international city I visit, and this was a very worthwhile stop. Highly recommended for book lovers. They also have vinyl records and ephemera. VISA/MC accepted.

I got, among other…read morethings, a beautiful first edition of Hesse's Das Glasperlenspiel at a reasonable price, an early edition of Tieck, and a marvelous photo essay on Marlene Dietrich. The owner is obviously very knowledgeable and chooses his stock very carefully. He was very helpful to me despite my extremely limited German. I highly recommend this shop to anyone interested in German literature and history. A real find!
