A large van hit my open car door as I was exiting from it. I was legally parked on the side of the road. Officer Christopher Czolowski was called to the scene. I was ticketed. He told me to get into my car. I complied but said something to the man who hit me because I thought it was wrong for me to get the ticket. Officer Czolowski came to my car and pulled me out, slammed me to the ground and dragged me several yards. He proceeded to forcefully twist and slam me into the ground about 30 times. He then threatened to taser me. I was a 58 year old woman who is disabled. I had bruises all over my arms and legs because of this and was very shaken by the incident. I would never call the Phoenix Police Department for any reason. This was uncalled for and a clear case of police brutality and Officer Czolowski should not be on the police force. read more
