I visited Shipley about two years ago. I paid in full with each office visit. Today, I received…read morenotification that I have a collections account on my credit report for $85 from Shipley! When I called them to see what this is about, I was told they found out after my visits that I should have been being charged an extra $5/visit. So they added these charges to my account but never notified me. Apparently they had someone new start in January and she claims to have sent out bills to my address in their system in January, February, and March. Unfortunately I had moved and wasn't receiving these letters if they were actually being mailed. They could have checked for a new address or called me and I would have been happy to work with them on these $5 charges. Instead, they sent this to collections. This is terrible business practice and I will not be recommending their office to anyone. I do not recommend them because of their lack of organization, poor communication, and terrible billing practices. Plenty of other chiropractors do a much better job without the extra stress!
