I needed help with unloading a U-PACK and reached out to Phoenix Moving. I received a quick response when I called, and answered a few questions so I could get a quote. The price was fair and they were flexible about what time would work for me. The 2 man crew called me on the way and showed up on time. They were hard working, polite, and were careful with my belongings. They knocked out everything in less than two hours and I'd definitely hire them again, or recommend them!! read more

Save yourself some heartache and pass on Phoenix Moving. Here's what went down when I hired them. First of all, we had a time crunch on our move, as I had to go out of town for work at the end of the week. We scheduled for a Tuesday morning at 10am, and had informed them that we weren't moving everything on this hire, only some of our furniture and about 45 small Uhaul boxes, many of the items in our house would be donated to the poor so this move was to be roughly half of our stuff. I told the office personnel over the phone that all our stuff would fit on one 24' box truck. She quoted me the rate and I said, "Sounds great, book it!" Moving day comes and I don't hear anything - about 9:45 I called their office and was told we never confirmed the job. This was the first red flag. I told her this was not acceptable and they reschedule for the following morning, Wednesday at 10am - okay I'm now one day behind schedule. The next morning a rented Uhaul shows up and it's driven by one of Phoenix Movers' laborers and Noah shows up as well in his personal truck, which he promptly locks his keys inside. He borrows a coat hanger from me to jimmy open his door, this is the second red flag. He claims to be the owner and he is here to help because they couldn't get enough personnel to do the move on such short notice. They go on to load our stuff in their rented truck, this goes by pretty smooth, except I feel like they are over zealous in the amount of shrink wrap they are using to wrap up the items - whatever. Later on I found out it was so they could add a whole roll of shrink wrap to my bill. The real problem starts when we get to the destination. The new house is out in the country and I have a gravel driveway. It had rained pretty heavily and Lowes had been there the day before and left a few ruts in my drive while dropping off my refrigerator. This happened in the dark so I was unaware of the damage until we got there to unload the rented Uhaul truck. As I was inspecting the gravel, here comes the Uhaul barreling at me, driven by Noah. I called out for him to slow down but he plowed into the soft area and jerked the wheel which dug the whole front end into the ground. At this point the move was over from their perspective. Noah and his hireling immediately stopped caring about my move and became focused on getting their rental truck unstuck. After a few hours of fruitlessness to that end, they walked away leaving me in the lurch with the truck still unloaded, but not before billing me for 6 hours when in truth they worked less than 4 hours. My spouse and I unloaded their truck by ourselves that night. The next morning the guys came back and proceeded to tear up my gravel drive even more by trying to pull the Uhaul out with Noah's truck and tow chain, but inevitably had to call a wrecker. By the time the truck was removed the drive was impassable - my vehicle is trapped and I still have a ton of stuff to do with this move before I have to leave town for work, now 2 days behind schedule and I can't get out of my own driveway. Phoenix Movers' position was that since we unloaded the truck ourselves they were not liable for any of the property damage they caused to my drive. I seriously considered suing and instead only filed a report with AR Attorney General. read more

NEVER USE PHOENIX MOVING!!!!!!!! This is one of the worst businesses that I have a partner up with. I hope you read this review before you book with Phoenix moving. I booked movers at 10 AM which is only an hour after they open. After waiting seven hours they were still no-shows. Calling the office multiple times they were very vague and gave no information on when my movers would be there. They told me "if you book anything after 10 AM it just means that they will arrive after that time slot." This provides no guarantee that your movers will be there on time or even show up! this company is very unprofessional and should be used by nobody. Save yourself the time and look somewhere else. Don't use this company. They have terrible reviews for a reason. Cussing and smoking around the family and your stuff just overall very unprofessional. Showed up 2 hours late and didn't bring enough guys for the entire move. Will then charge you a crazy amount over what they actually work. Don't waste your time or money because they will take advantage of you. read more

We scheduled Phoenix to move us. Several weeks later and a few days before our move we received a call that they needed to cancel. I called back and said unacceptable and asked them to call back within 2 hours with a solution. Just like everyone else, they didn't have the staff for scheduled moves. Tiara called me back, was very friendly and understood canceling was not an option at this point. She worked with us and figured out a way to make this happen. The movers showed up on time, loaded the truck and took it to storage. We were very pleased with the way they cared for our belongings. They came to the new house 2 days later and unloaded, asked where the few items went that were not labeled well and set the furniture up. Again, these 3 guys worked hard and never complained! We we're not sure we would recommend Phoenix Moving but in the end Tiara stepped in and handled everything! We would definitely use Phoenix again! read more

My parents used this company to move recently. They have moved many times during their lifetime (probably 8 or 9 times). This was the worst move ever. The company did NOT come out and assess ahead of time. So when they finally showed up to move them (yes, they were late!), they actually needed two trucks. The company did take furniture, etc. apart. But then they lost the hardware and it was found it weird places. My dad (age 84!) had to put all the furniture back together again by himself because they couldn't find the hardware. There were dishes/mugs that were broken because they stacked book boxes and heavy items on top of fragile items. The boxes were all labeled with the room they were supposed to go into. However, we have found canned goods in the master bedroom, book boxes in the kitchen. They dumped everything in the garage with out organizing it as my parents requested. My dad has reached out to the company to ask about the poor customer service and the damages to many items. Noah told him he was NOT insured to cover damages and that if my dad had a complaint, he should take him to court. Very, very poor customer service. Also, these guys get paid by the hour. They take numerous breaks on the clock. They complain about being tired. My parents provided lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks for them. Terrible company. Do not recommend them at all!!! read more

This team was very inefficient. It took them over 4 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment 15 mins across town. Granted it was a 2 story apartment, but the stairs were built inside with my garage under it. The truck was literally parked right outside the door. The team was standing around and was even watching videos on their phones at one point. I felt like I was watching children. The crew have very inappropriate conversations at my apartment while "moving" boxes. Very unprofessional. They kept talking about baby mommas, cussing, and etc. When they moved things to my new home, they got grease everywhere after taking a door off, and then they refused to clean it. When I mentioned this to the owner, he said I was extremely RUDE. He even called me a liar at one point. I told him I thought his team was slacking, and he wouldn't even listen. He said he shave 15 mins off for smoke break and that's it. At one point he kept YELLING at me "customer satisfaction is my number one goal." How is yelling that at a customer ever going to provide good customer service? The owner then send me a link via PayPal (btw they ONLY accept PayPal, check or cash. NO direct cards), and the link didn't work. He was then gripping at me saying I was the only customer to ever have that problem. He then said I could go to atm or bank and get cashier's check. He then THREATENED to take me to small claims court while I was on my way to get a cashier's check! At this point I was upset and in tears. How is making your client cry good customer service? The absolute worst. I had my friends and a contractor whitness how they were acting and the unprofessionalism. I think their goal was to go as slow as possible so they could charge more. At one point I was about to start taking boxes downstairs for them because it would be over 4-5 minutes inbetween their trips back into the apartment but I have a torned rotator cuff and was not able. When I originally moved to the apartment and up the stairs, it took around 2 hours with another company. Unfortunately, they were booked out and I couldn't use the other company. I really regret using Phoenix Movers. I think this has been the worst customer service experience in my life. If I could, I would give negative stars. read more
