They both were personable and engaging with the customer. They explained the process when I asked as they worked through the basement. Plenty of photo documentation of the work. They had a consistent and sustained work pace. In fact, their pace during the job was more than I would have been able to handle. It was due back Monday but I picked it up Thursday. My total bill was $87 and some change. When I was walking out I could tell that there was a strange odor to the clothing. I live an hour away from Wausau so I continue to drive and got rather nauseous from the smell that was coming from the clothes. I can't quite pinpoint the actual smell... it's more like they are being washed in a dirty machine with chemicals.... I can't nail it. I ended up calling Gunderson's The following day. I told the gal my name and explained the situation. There was a long period of silence. The girl offered to re-clean the clothes and that was all she could do but why would I want to chance my clothes being cleaned again, only to come out smelling the way that they do. I told the gal that I would try to Febreze them and if it didn't work but I would consider bringing them back. She said OK and it sounded like she was ready to end the call but I said don't you need my name ? We played a cat and mouse game until finally she admitted that she had collar ID. They told me they could meet the time requirement, so I booked them and paid a deposit. The day before the move I got a message saying they would arrive between 10 and noon, so I called and reiterated the promised time. I was then told they would arrive between 9 and 9:30 am. They arrived at 10:16 am.

I had a situation where I had to get my well disinfected and retested from out of town. They were always helpful, courteous and professional but not only that, they really went above and beyond. Todd went as far as calling the village of Kronenwetter to get me an extension for our well permit as we could not disinfect the well in the winter. Also after Eric retested the well, he even dropped off the test results to the village of Kronenwetter. I can't say enough good things about them! I give them an A+++ on service.
