BEWARE TERRIBLE PATIENT SERVICE ZERO COMPASSION:…read more Have been sick for 2 days 102 temp, throwing up flu symptoms. Made an appointment this morning for 7:30 tonight. Forgot my wallet but they had me on file. They explain there old policy, they just started enforcing you pay 65.00 or put your credit card on file. Heather very nasty lady who has no business working with anyone ill has was confrontational from the get go. Almost like she wanted to argue, fight and cause stress. Ask for a copy of the policy 4 times. Heather says it is on the door. We give Mercy a ton of business as it is our family and we have 10 kids. NOBODY sick or well should ever be treated like Heather treated me. She needs to loose her job and find a new career. Went one block down the street to their competitors urgent care and I am currently waiting to be seen. I don't owe anything with my Humana plan for Urgent care yet Mery wants my debit or credit card number. IF YOU NEED URGENT CARE the competitor down the street is a great alternative. NO ONE NEEDING MEDICAL ATTENTUON SHOULD EVER EXPERIENCE A HEATHER.

absolutely terrible service.. they see on average 2-3 per hour if not less. don't bother making an…read moreappointment, because even with an appointment, walk ins will go in front of you. No sense of urgency what so ever.. they definitely have time to stand around and socialize though. And these will be the same people to make an appointment for an oil change, then complain the car doesn't go in right away.

She had gone through the same procedure that my grandmother just went through, so in many ways she was more informative than the doctors in her ability to explain everything in simplified layman english. She was super friendly, had an uplifting sense of humor, and was very gentle. My grandma loved her! She got my grandma all set up to receive fresh medical supplies and monitoring equipment sent right to her door, and scheduled a nurse to come over and check in on her twice a week. I will keep this post updated as we go, but Oxford seems like they really have their act together, and I don't foresee that there will be any problems with their services.

Oxford has, for a very long time, been a "bad word" in home healthcare in this area. I have known…read morepeople that have worked for them and they treat their employees just as poorly as their clients. I have yet to meet one person from this company that had "bedside manors". Most are brash and not very friendly. Once you sign up for ANY of their services, many OTHER services are tacked on that you will probably not need and are most defiantly NOT ordered by your doctor or anyone but them in fact. Trying to cancel service with Oxford is like trying to cancel a magazine subscription. You can call them over and over again, but the staff assigned to your case will continue to call and leave messages that they will "be three today" with a FIVE HOUR window of when or more. Remember, this is AFTER you've canceled. There are MULTIPLE numbers that will call you, most of which are private cell phones of the staff going to the homes. Calls back are often ignored or go straight to voicemail. Calling the main office gets annoying as well, because you are tossed from extension to extension of countless individuals NOT AT WORK RIGHT THEN! You have NO idea how many "breaks" and "days off" the management get in this place, it's insane. Oxford's main goal is to put as many charges on you or your insurance as possible and BUG YOU constantly even after you've canceled. Even the "assessment" is garbage. It's just more of the same recording of pills and telling you things you already know: "You seem to be up and awake today." Are you asking or have you become captain obvious? Do NOT use Oxford! It's like working with politicians. You NEVER get a straight answer and you will have to work your tail of to cancel the service. Oh, and anything that happens to NOT be approved by insurance that you didn't need anyway.. ya YOU will get charged for that.. not your insurance. STAY AWAY FROM OXFORD!
