I'm just not a flea market person. The smell alone is a deterrent. But I went on a mission with some people who are trying to find decor cheaply and thus found myself at Phoenix. Most of the stuff in here is crap. I can't believe folks just don't throw such things away. The items that are cool are way overpriced to come from a flea market. Phoenix Flea Market is true to its identity of a flea market, as upon entry you are transported into an old, dusty, roadside-esk building that features random items from wall to wall and floor to ceiling. From the moment you pull in, you are 100% aware of what you are getting in to and if the broke down U-Haul didn't clue you in, maybe the chipped, faded facade or the crumbling parking lot will shine light for you. I will give it to this place in the fact that it is massive and packed to the brim with goods, some of which have not been moved for at least 30 years. Like your standard flea markets, the space is made up of booths, well over 100 vendors have claimed a part of Phoenix, and some vendors are certainly more active than others. As mentioned, you can tell the booths that have the rotating inventory and then you can tell the ones that have not stepped foot or added anything new since 1987. As other reviewers mentioned, this place is a treasure trove for your diggers or treasure hunters, but for your standard antiquing visitor...this place is kind of a let down. Its basically a really big yard sale store. I am sure there are some nuggets of treasure strewn throughout, but majority of the items are clearly just random resale items. Outside of the variety of merchandise, the building itself is in a huge state of disrepair and is need of some love. Great selection of really cool stuff. However, the staff is extremely rude and thinks it's a bother to call the booth owners about missing prices. Also, haggling over prices is apparently not allowed. Again, great selection, but if you are looking for a typical flea market experience this isn't for you. read more

5 Stars for yards and yards of wonderland // Walk in the front door and rummage for yards and yards / hours and hours. I am so serious... Pheonix Flea Market is a never ending wonderland. With over 100 booths offering a wide variety of anything you could imagine this fleas market nails it. Walk in any day of the week and you will find yourself wishing you would have found this place sooner. Unlike other flea markets, Pheonix does not stink or house a corn dog stand. Instead, Pheonix impressed me with its antiques, rare furniture (at affordable prices), strange ceramic mugs, a set of bibles from the 1800's, and the perfect victorian dress for summer! This flea market is quite and kept to itself, but the marketers and their tastes put this place on the map. read more

We stumbled upon this great flea market (open daily!) after driving past to a new breakfast spot. What a fun surprise! It's (seemingly) endless little booths of antiques and treasures. I can't wait to go back and look again WITHOUT my three year old. :) Vintage milk glass, pyrex, brass, candlesticks, rugs, blankets, dishes, trinkets, books, toys...on and on I could go. Prices vary booth to booth. Some have outrageous pricing (in my opinion) and some are right on for what you'd expect when buying treasures like this. I can't wait to go back! This is a great place for treasure hunters. The amount of space in here is impressive, and there are plenty of areas to find some really cool old things. This isn't one of those pretentious antique stores where you feel stuffy walking around; but they have plenty of quality antiques and vintage items for the watchful eye. read more

My husband and I discovered this place during today's weekly antique mall/thrift shop/flea market adventure. It's pretty big with a wide variety of vintage and used goods. Lots of furniture, dishes, bric-à-brac, etc. If you're an antique snob, you might be disappointed in the inventory here, although they did have some beautiful pieces. On the other hand, if you're like me and you just love a crazy mess of old stuff to wander through, you'll love it! The prices I saw seemed fair for the most part. I didn't end up buying anything because I was on a very specific mission and they didn't have what I was looking for, but I enjoyed myself nonetheless. Plus, they serve free coffee to help fuel the rest of your treasure-hunting day.* I will definitely be back. *(I cannot attest to the quality of said coffee because I already had my own, but it's always worth mentioning.) read more

Definitely worth a trip as they have a little of everything. I found an old lamp base which i couldn't find elsewhere. I did find an expensive version in franklin but this was 40% of the price there They do have a lot of junk but lots of treasures too. Good luck. read more

It seemed closed, but the parking is kind of behind another building. Once inside, you realize it's much larger than it seems. Lots of options at reasonable prices. Not much in the way of antique furniture, but lots of odds and ends and practical, everyday items. Worth a look if you enjoy flea markets. read more

Overall, this is an interesting place. If you're expecting a neatly organized flea market, you'll be disappointed. The booths range from completely crappy to shabby chic/trendy decor. The range of styles didn't bother me but might not be for everyone. Service wasn't particularly friendly but wasn't rude either. read more

Cool store, a bit overpriced but its a consignment so everyone tends to their own booth and puts their own prices. I bought some awesome vintage shot glasses and have put them to good use (HIC*). Visited here Saturday for the first time and I have to say I was so impressed by the quality of the antiques as well as the quantity. Thankfully, a flea market that doesn't sell bags of socks and all things new!! Loved it and will be going back --- SOON!! read more

like walking through a big yard sale. lots of digging through junk but can find some gems. we found a needlework print valued at $200+ for $17. glad we stopped in! we are not from tennessee and got a kick out of the accents of staff/shoppers. loved the true "southern hospitality" customer service at checkout. read more
