I contacted 2 contractors to do duct replacement. Jimmys was recommended by my neighbor behind me. The young son came to take measurements, he was polite & on time. His father (owner) contacted me later & sent me a written estimate which was comparable to other estimate but $175 cheaper. They also said they could start the job the next week. After I got a date to fix bathroom floor (which had to be done before the replacement). They were able to come the next day. They were a little tardy on agreed arrival time but only about 30 minutes. With in an hour they had all old ducting ripped out. Both the son (also named Jimmy) and helper (peanut) were very polite, answered my questions and were able to complete the job by about 4pm. They made sure to check all vents had proper flow. Cleaned up all trash in area near crawl space & left. Great family owned company

After speaking with the young lady about my issue she said they would be at my house in about 10 minutes. 10 minutes or so later, Jimmy and his wife were at my front door. Within minutes of arriving Jimmy had disagnosed the problem. He did however, check to make sure there were no other issues with the unit since it is very old. 20 to 30 minutes later, my A/C was working. They are very friendly, thorough, and reasonably priced. I will recommend them to anyone who needs their A/C serviced.

Once done, I informed Precision that the supply temp was fluctuating. They informed me by text and voice that someone would come out to check the refrigerant pressures. No one showed or called. I was also told that I'd receive confirmation that the units would be registered for warranty and an inspection would be scheduled to close the permit. Neither have been done. I called Abdul, the service manager and he made it seem like it was my fallult for not chasing them down enough. I called Asia about all of the above. She said she'd call back and never did. I contacted Roger Costner. He did not apologize or try to make things right. If you've been wronged by them, I'd contact the BBB even though they're not accredited (not surprised). I'd also inform the companies they rep. In my case, it's Tempstar.

We contacted another company for a 2nd opinion and after paying $275, the AC was up and working again. The other company came back 5 days later and found no reduced Freon levels with AC working fine. They also said the unit sounds great and would probably last at least another 5 years. Hometown HVAC & Electrical is "making a living" by not properly assessing ways to save people money but line their pockets for unnecessary AC replacement and repairs. I was told by Hometown HVAC & Electrical my AC would not work until I paid $1225 for what may be a temporary fix or replace the unit for $7800. $275 later, my AC is working fine. RIPOFF!!!!

My original concern was regarding the pricing of a repair and the inconsistent explanations I received about why the cost had increased significantly compared with my previous repair and a recent quote from the company. I want to be clear that my concern was not with the technician. He was professional, courteous, arrived on time, and completed the repair well. After reviewing my feedback, the manager from CLT Appliance reached out to discuss my concerns. I appreciate that the company took the time to listen and address the situation rather than dismissing my feedback. I also appreciated that my initial conversation with the manager's assistant was escalated and handled promptly. The manager reviewed my concerns, provided additional clarification regarding the pricing, acknowledged my frustration, and worked with me to resolve the issue. CLT Appliance ultimately refunded the $125 difference that was the source of my concern. I appreciate a company that is willing to listen to customers, take accountability, and make things right. I had my foundation vents replaced, and the guy sent me pics of this company having cut the belly wrap for the under the house insulation under my master tub and NOT repairing any of it. Under the tub is just wide open. It also appears that the hall shower is leaking. It's a good thing it is not used regularly! I texted them the pics and asked for an explanation. This mess cost me a lot of money, not to mention the laundry room wall (piece of drywall) they broke moving the master tub in and the many holes they put in my wall to "find" something. Wow! I would highly recommend Phoenix for your Electrical & HVAC needs. They recently completed a job updating several wall outlets and light switches in our home and exceeded our expectations. Their home inspection was thorough and RICKY even discovered an electrical issue with one of our outlets that could have caused a fire if he did not correct it. He even spent 10 minutes afterwards giving us advice on our best options for a tankless water heater. So, guess who we're going to call in the future? They did everything from replacing/upgrading an electrical panel for one of our tenants to rewiring a 9,000 sq ft basement for amp-intensive business use. Mr. Adams even came out mid-summer on an hour's notice to assess a broken A/C. He identified the issue within minutes (it was a bad capacitor) and charged us for just that. Such levels of competence and honesty are extremely rare in this day & age. We now trust only this company with our building's wiring and heating / cooling.
