It is not conducive to providing a good environment for learning! It is just too crowded and allows bigger and more aggressive dogs (yellow bandana doesn't work, this is dependent on pet owners identifying that their dog has aggressive tendencies) How do you teach behavior modification when you are about 2 feet from another pup who is excited or an overly aggressive dog! We paid over $1,200 for a series of lessons and felt like the training was not individualized at all for our high energy pup. Did not like the concept of using a choke collar or electronic monitoring device to control our pup. Incidentally neither worked! Surely as dog trainers you would think you would be able to provide some better techniques rather than punishment type deterrents?? We gave up and went to a personal trainer Terry and in about four weeks he had demonstrated the techniques and was able to show us how to work with our dog and get the desired behavior. He was less expensive and as a plus he came to our home. Don't waste your time or money at this place. Opt for more professional and experienced training in a proper learning environment!

You see, we were in a suit with a security building I lived in, in which I had been a survivor of home invasion, and all that goes with that. I screamed , silently, quietly, that I needed help, something was seriously wrong. The next day I had an appointment, and I clearly remember being afraid to go in. Afraid that I would be told (or that others would tell me) I was crazy. Instead , she asked me if I wanted to know.... and cautiously , I said yes. The PTSD I was suffering from had almost immobilized me, but I wanted ME back, and Lynn walked me through that, for months, and then less and less. Even to the point of when the PD called to say they thought they had my attacker after almost 4 years, when I called her, she not only cleared her calendar for the next afternoon, in case I needed her after the line up... but told me she had seen on the news that a serial rapist/kidnapper had been caught and KNEW it was he. We've never met in person. We're not even in the same city. Every week for 30-45 minutes, we sit down in front of our respective computers and have a chat. I'm quite sure that only the good reviews are listed. Personally, I would really be amazed if Cathy is actually Married. We all have an opinion, and in my opinion I highly suggest that you try another therapist or two before you waste your time & $$$$ on her. I firmly believe that in life you should ALWAYS treat people how you would like to be treated. If you disagree with the before mentioned philosophy, then Cathy Armstrong would be perfect for you.
