Students have state of the art facilities and having seen the facilities myself, they are pretty impressive. Sandwell Academy also has a Sixth Form and the aim of the Academy is to maximise student performance in all its forms. A lot of emphasis is placed on Sport, Business and ICT however the Academy do offer a broad curriculum. I wish I had state of the art facilities when I was at Sixth Form and High School. From top to bottom I am impressed with the Academy. I did have friends who went to the Academy and they themselves were full of praise for Sandwell Academy.

I am also aware there are other cricket clubs that use this ground. I have to say I have never been disappointed playing here and the sports facilities are pretty good. This place does hold some good cricketing memories for me and I do enjoy playing at this ground. The kitchen facilities that is situated near the sports ground at King Edward is pretty good. The room next to the kitchen is where my team and the opposition have our tea and it is of decent size. My friends who also play for Indian Sports say they enjoy playing their cricket here. The changing rooms are clean and so are the toilets. Showers can be hit and miss at times. Sometimes the water can be cold or sometimes it can be warm. Which is why I tend to have a shower at home. One annoying thing is the fact there are deep bushes on one side of the ground. So if a ball does get hit for six and goes in the direction of the bushes, you could be searching for that ball for quite some time.

A great school!!…read more Pupils are happy and articulate. Current pupils and alumni alike are definitely proud of their school. Teachers and supporting staff are happy and conscientious and do whatever is possible for each pupil to achieve their best (in exams but also as a well rounded person). Exam results are amongst the best in the country. It's a school for boys from Yr7 to Yr11 and mixed in the Sixth Form. Exciting developments ahead: A brand new Sixth Form Centre is being built at the moment and will be in use by the new year A brand new house system is in place since September with a number of competitions and clearly the kids are delighted and motivated
