This school is ok. The standards are high so your child is guaranteed a good education. The teachers are very good and the headmaster is lovely. unfortunately the school is in a rough area so it isnt the best or safest enviroment and some children are pretty rough. After recently leaving the school, its OK. Most of the teachers are good and kind, but the head Miss Byrne is rarely seen and isn't really involved. Also there is little choice for Year Nine options, only one compulsory language, Spanish. No, Media Studies, Photography, Sociology, Psychology (Which our available at other local Public schools). Also, you could only choose two other subjects, and many pupils were forced into subjects they disliked or had no choice at all. However, the worst thing is the school grounds and facilities. Overall areas were dirty and rotten. Such as moss and rot growing on roofs and in the school canteen. The school seriously needs an upgrade and renovation. They had done a massive upgrade on The Heads office and staff room. Where pupils weren't allowed, put the little I saw was a lot more modern and kept than the rest school. But, though it has faults I enjoyed my experience and there were some good teachers. read more
