I was in the mood for pho. Instead of going to my old favorite joint, I thought I'd try some place new. Pho Hanoi has "pho" in its name, so I figure the pho must be good there. The restaurant is location at the shopping center in Osiedle Europejskie, way out there at the edge of the city. While the decal at the entrance is super cheesy, the interior is actually somewhat elegant. More important perhaps is the lack of strong cooking odor, something that often makes eating at a Chińczyk a less than pleasant experience.
After I placed my orders at the counter, the items arrived in an amazingly rapid succession. After one sip of beer, the egg-rolls appeared. And before I finish eating one, a big bowl of pho showed up. It's Hanoi-style, so there was little garnish other than beansprout and scallions. But the broth was good and there were plenty of both noodle and beef. Completely satisfying. The egg-rolls were above average as well.
The place is really far from the center. If you happen to work at the Czerwone Maki office park, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try, read more
