This is the only sushi place that is in Sydney (at least on google maps). The food is average but…read morethe price is high. The miso soup was $4 but they only gave me less than half a bowl of soup. Maybe it's for presentation, but that was iffy and preferred it filled up a little more. The rainbow roll was $17 and it was an 8 piece sushi roll that is average (but overpriced). I also ordered a sunomono salad. I was suspicious of the $7 price at first but it was a pretty large portion but the seasoning of it isn't very authentic. Takoyaki was ok but I was pleased they even served it. Coming from a bigger city I am fully aware of the price point of sushi and what it should bring. This certainly does not fulfill its price point. The atmosphere of this restaurant is actually pretty nice. It's very cozy and warm with modern decor. However there is no parking and accessible entrance. So anyone who cannot use the stairs would have great difficulty getting into the restaurant as it is up a set of stairs. That being said, I still like the decor. Customer service wise it was good. They were attentive and professional. The Korean staff (spoke korean to each other and English to the guests) were very friendly. As this is the only Japanese place in town I will return once more to try their lunch specials.
