We purchased 48 light units with ballasts February 16, 2009 from JM Supply on Invoice number…read more192088, paid in full with check number 4362 in the amount of $3703.98. We were told on Dec 17 2013 by JM Supply that we were under the 5 year warranty and informed them at that time that 26 out 48 light ballasts had gone out and were no longer working. We were informed that we would need to contact a company named Sunpark in order to process the warranty claim. After contacting Sunpark we were told that they could not speak directly to us since we did not purchase the lights from them and they requested that we have JM Supply contact them. We requested several times for JM Supply to contact Sunpark but received no assistance. I was told that we may need to speak to Mr. Joey Miller whom I was told is the owner of the company. We attempted again on February 11, 2014 to have some assistance in resolving the situation. At that time the number of lighting ballasts not working had increased to 38 of the 48 units. After this notification, we were told that the lights were out of warranty and we could not be assisted. We find this situation to be unacceptable as we had been attempting to resolve this the proper way before the warranty expired, and due to the lack of assistance received, the warranty expired and we were not able to get any replacement units for our ballasts in that timeframe. As of today, October 17 of 2014, 41 of the 48 lighting ballasts are not working, we have still not received any replacements or assistance. We have called and left Mr. Joey Miller several messages bringing the situation to his attention but have not received any return phonecall. This situation is hurting our business as our work area is currently not lit to our standards for our staff to use the space for shipping, receiving and assembly. We are afraid that if the pattern continues of these units failing that we will soon not be able to use our warehouse without purchasing all new lighting equipment ourselves. We would like to resolve this matter by either receiving a full refund or replacement ballasts for all 48 lights as it is apparent the units we received are defective.

BUYER BEWARE - I've never had an experience quite like the one I had today at Techspot. After…read morecharging us over $200 to fix my daughter's screen, 2 days later it begins to blacken in all corners, slowly covering the whole phone. My daughter took her phone to Florida for summer vacation, and had sent us pics of the play-by-play in which the phone was deteriorating. Once back home, we took the phone in so they could look at it, and were told "because the screen is cracked on the edges, there's nothing we can do." Huh? It was YOUR SCREEN you replaced just days before the screen was breaking...and that's our fault? We were told of a great warranty program, and to come back if there were any problems. This was TWO DAYS from repair. To top it off, that same visit one of their techs put on a new screen protector for my iPhone, and it started to bubble days after. "Nope, nothing we can do." It's a screen protector for goodness sakes. What does it cost them to repair it? $1 or $2? He did offer to allow me to buy another one from him, and pay for some extended warranty we weren't offered the first time around...I'll pass. All we heard during our first visit was how great their warranty program was. In fact, the customer he saw right before us today was just promised the moon: "If anything should go wrong, please bring it back and we'll take care of you." They'll make you feel good on the front end, and burn you on the back. There are far more reputable places one can visit for their phone repair needs. This place is as shady as it gets.
