The driver stacked them so I could easily move them manually to block them up, and I was easily able to split all 20 cord with a 7lb maul with almost no stubborn pieces. If you enjoy cutting firewood by hand with a maul I recommend using Got Wood to purchase your logs from, the only tools I needed were Chainsaw, Maul and a long pry bar.

They stacked the dry-hardwood properly and safely while remembering to keep the stacks away from the siding. Minimal clean up after and they never seemed rushed/in a hurry to leave for the day. I phoned the office and was asked to send a picture, which I did. I waited two days and when I did not get a response I phoned again. The receptionist told me Lou would be in at 3:30pm and she would show him the photos (2) and find out how he wants to resolve the problem. She also tried to tell me that only one piece on top of the pile looked too large. It's been a week and I have not had any response or attempt at a resolution. I can live with having to split a few large pieces, but 20% (or more) is unreasonable. I will be looking for a new supplier.

I ordered 5 face cords and paid a premium for seasoned wood. Unfortunately I failed to look at it closely before the delivery man dumped it. As I moved it to my woodshed I couldn't believe the low quality of the supposedly seasoned firewood. The logs were sodden, many had areas of rot as well as moss growing on them. Not only that, but I was about 11/2 face cords short. I keep my firewood stacked in a dedicated shed. I know exactly how long it is and I have 1 foot increments marked on a vertical post so it's easy to know how much wood I have. I called several times to complain and seek some resolution. The owners mother answered the phone and told me her son would call back but he never did. I've since found another supplier and the difference is the wood the last two years has been remarkable.
