This lovely out and back walk travels through trees, streams with small water falls, open pastures with docile cows grazing and fabulous views. The ringing of the cowbells is very relaxing. There are numerous benches along the way with quotes from famous philosophers, hence the name of the trail. The quotes are in German. We went in early October and the leaves were just starting to change along the mountain slopes and it was very picturesque. The trail is an easy walk suitable for all ages. read more
