Prime rib is a normally a roasted meat but the friendly waitress asked how we liked it prepared and charred was of the two options presented to us. It was like we couldn't get the usual rare, medium or well-done scope of options. When it arrived, it was not the Prime Rib I was accustomed too but a charred thin steak with overboard seasoning. Being a man and a birthday party honoree, I decided to not complain or send it back as such would have been a very rude, unappreciative gesture to my host, I thought. What I learned here is this is not a place known for Prime Rib or steaks as it is an Italian eatery, stick with pizza and pasta dishes for the best satisfaction. Lesson learned.

Our server was really nice and even though she forgot the extra bread and water fill ups - we were treated nicely. And our food came out in perfect timing. Our food came with a side and also soup so we ordered the lobster bisque. I liked the taste of it but the lobster and onions were diced up and there was so much of it that it just didn't taste good. Onto the entrees I ordered the chicken Marsala and it came with two good sized chicken breasts and I opted for the fettuccine Alfredo on the side. Overall I give it a 7/10 - it hit the mark but wasn't impressive. We also ordered the Parmesan crusted 8 oz filet for $35. We asked for medium but it came out medium rare. Was a bit bland but we ate it. Overall we won't be back for a while but it's a good place to try when you want some Italian from an old school joint.

Modern, classic elegance with an appealing subtle color palette. Simply beautiful! The service was outstanding. They were highly attentive and responded to all of our needs quickly and happily in a very friendly, courteous way, Daisy and her team of bus support were unbelievably attentive. If you go on a day that she is there, ask to be seated in her section. Good service with good food has a tendency to take your experience to atmospheric levels! The bread baskets were filled with rustic Italian bread that was so delicious I thought I was at a trattoria in the rolling hills of Tuscany. Instead of butter, the upscale olive oil dip was very authentic. The menu offers a wide variety of choices for everyone that appeals to carnivores and vegetarians alike. Pastas, beef, pork, lamb and seafood. I asked to substitute one starch for another and the chef made it happen! The food was incredibly fresh. My dining companions has the Maple glazed salmon. The other had the lamb chops. Both raved about the freshness of their meals as well as the perfection to which their dishes were cooked! I had the scallops and substituted the starch with Truffle Fries. The theatrics associated with the presentation of my scallops was breathtaking. It was au flambé! They were so fresh and slightly crusted, i'd never tasted anything that delicious before. Even popular and legendary EAST COAST seafood restaurants could learn a lot about the preparation and presentation of scallops. My meal appropriately mixed textures, tangy tartness and sweetness in the veggie dish consisting of chopped zucchini sweet potatoes and spinach. The way that our meals were plated and presented was sheer "ART," worthy of a museum display. It's a bit pricey, but worth every penny! If I were to recommend an enhancement, I'd recommend some soft background music/jazz or a singer and pianist. It's that type of place. We were celebrating a friend's birthday. The presentation was spectacular! I can't wait to dine al fresco when the weather permits!

The mixed greens and guacamole that coupled it was sheer freshness. The sauce is a hard no for me. Pitars Pinot Grigio was cool but the house paired better. We always top our meals off with the butter cake here. I always start with their signature smoked old fashioned. The service is cool too. No one is ever over the top but they feel like family at this point. The ambiance is 5 stars.

We ordered linguine and clam sauce.... But perhaps as many clamshells there was I couldn't find all the clams kind of making me wonder if they save the shells and throw it in there it was just an observation since all of them get collected nice in a bowl..... But I had to admit the clam sauce was actually good. They're chicken parmesan was hit... I enjoyed the sauce and I actually like the way that they have fried their chicken or breaded it and grilled it either way was excellent.. and one of my favorite dishes that I order almost every time I hit an Italian restaurant is the Alfredo most of the time I have to fix it whether I have to add cheese or pepper is very rare that I get to eat the entree without having to doctor it up but this one definitely passed.. the chicken was a little dry but you won on the Alfredo sauce.... It was a win-win lunch definitely wouldn't mind going back there...

We came in looking forward to dinner and unfortunately left disappointed…read more The positives first: my wife's espresso martini was excellent -- easily the highlight of the evening. Her Chicken Vesuvio was very good, and the Shrimp DeJonghe appetizer was enjoyable, especially with the bread. Unfortunately, everything declined once the entrées arrived. My porterhouse steak was placed on the table rather abruptly, and the cut looked more like a T-bone, with the filet portion nearly nonexistent. The quality of the meat was poor and extremely tough -- barely edible. I rarely ask for A1 sauce with a steak, but it was the only way I could get through it. The baked potato was dry, and while the side salad was fresh, it felt more like cafeteria-quality than something from a restaurant at this price point. Shortly after dropping off the entrées, the waitress quickly asked how the food was. I responded, "just okay," but she immediately walked away, not giving the impression that she was interested in hearing anything further. That set the tone for the rest of the service. What made the situation more disappointing was seeing the table next to us receive the same porterhouse. Their steak appeared nearly twice the size of mine, had a clearly defined filet portion, and they were able to cut into it effortlessly. The inconsistency was very noticeable. After that, service was largely absent. We waited about 20 minutes trying to locate our waitress Dee with no success. The owner did stop by and was very friendly when we asked for A1 sauce, but overall the service remained slow. It took roughly 30 minutes to get a water refill and another 30 minutes to receive our check. The explanation given was that she had been in the back handling a difficult order. For the price and expectations that come with ordering a porterhouse, this experience did not meet the standard. While there were a few bright spots, the inconsistency in food quality and service makes this a 2-star experience at best.
