I got there 20 minutes after they opened and was the second person in line, 10 minutes later the line was almost out the door. This area in general is so woody and whimsical with a lot of different paths, antique stores and bookstores. The café itself is connected to an antique store and the seating is all refurbished antiques. The ambience and whimsy that this café brings gives me so much joy! The coffee and the donuts that they had were absolutely incredible. I had a hot tiramisu latte and I ended up getting six donuts for a Mother's Day celebration. The donuts were fluffy, steamy and freshly made. I usually am not a cooked fruit person, but the way that they incorporated the fruits in all of these pastries was absolutely divine. The coffee had the perfect balance of sweetness to the boldness of espresso. And with your drink sweet treats, you can take a walk around the little town and enjoy the weather and the scenery. 10/10 experience. I will be back here again to try their savory options and some other pastries!

It feels like a Czech Grandma's living room. Very welcoming and cozy. Lots of things hung up on the walls to look at. There was quite a line when we arrived. I felt bad, there was only one girl working and it seemed pretty steadily busy for the couple hours we hung around the area. I ordered a vanilla iced coffee with oat milk. They go super light on the milk. It was nothing super special. My cousin ordered the same coffee, and also some of the baked goods. The whipped cream donut was incredible. So were the filled donuts. Not boring, lots of filling, not dry. My uncle tried the Vietnamese coffee, he said it was okay. I really wish they had more food options. Im moving out of state soon, and have been curating a list of places I wanted to try before leaving. This spot was #1 on my list.

$47 for 6 items…read more There is no lack of quality in the doughnut and fritter, but have faith you will pay what I consider an exorbitant price. A box of 2 doughnuts and 2 fritters for $30; in addition two the stuffed breads (bacon cheeseburger and buffalo chicken), the damage was $47. Had I known if the prices were listed or I had simply asked, I would not have purchased so much or any at all. The fritters are substantial and the filled doughnuts pack a punch of flavor, but I will never spend $30 on 4 doughnuts again. The stuffed breads were the main reason I went here, however, they were very dry and the consensus in the household and there are better options in the area. For people interested in trying out their doughnuts, the fritters are $10 each and filled doughnuts are $5 each since prices are not listed. They occasionally announce 12 for $15 after 3 pm on social media which is why I was sticker shocked by my total when everything was tallied.

I ordered an egg sandwich, coffee and of course a pastry. All were very good ( especially the pastry) I did end up parking a block away and don't know if parking was available any closer. The shop is located on a corner on a very narrow street. But may be available around the corner.

I ordered an Iced Banana Matcha, once the gentleman upfront, who I believe is the owner made it for me handed it over I noticed how milky it was. So I asked him if he could add a bit more matcha. He looked at me then questioned why I would even want more matcha to it. So I mentioned how I ordered one this past weekend and how it was much darker green. He replied with, "Well that defeats the purpose of it being matcha because that's not how I make it and I don't know why she made it like that for you." Once he finished talking I just asked for my money back, I couldn't believe it was that much of bother to serve me a drink with my preferred way of having it. I ended up leaving really disappointed and uncomfortable. He was adamant of knowing "which girl (employee)," it was that made me the matcha over the weekend.

Right away, when walking in, we were greeted with delicious looking dessert options and welcoming faces. We were seated nicely next to the decorated window, and our waiter was quick with our orders. My crab and scallop penne pasta with Alfredo sauce was delicious, with seasoned bread crumbs on top. The Alfredo sauce sadly did overpower the dish, and there just was not enough crab to come through. Some bread on the side would have been a treat to soak up all the sauce and bits of crab. The eggplant parmigiana had many layers of tasty eggplant and their flavorful sauce. I am glad we ordered the fries on the side, because they came seasoned and went perfectly with both meals. We decided to take our desserts home with us, and the limoncello was our standout favorite. There were many other options on their dessert menu that we were debating between, and we will have to stop by for more later for sure. Between the welcoming staff, relaxing live music, and well prepared plates, Robin's Nest Restaurant delivers a charming dining experience that stands out.

There's a large parking lot across the street which makes for ease of access and there's also on street parking. My typical brunch booze is mimosas or espresso martinis but since they had quite an impressive and well thought out boozy brunch menu I opted for non traditional martinis that just made sense given the weather and warmth inside - French Toast Martini & a Rice Pudding Martini. Both a 10/10! Flavorful, strong and mighty and fun! We wanted to try a few things for our entrees so we decided to share the Quiche du Jour, Shrimp & Crab Grits, Turkey Chili and a Side of Bacon. When I tell you that this food didn't miss on a single thing ... literally SLAMMING! We ate until we couldn't eat anymore, ok I lied, we ate until there was just enough room for dessert lol because I had to order the Lemon Bar ... HOMERUN!!!! Seriously not a single thing that could've been better with the entire meal! Our server was also friendly and really thorough too which made for a dare I say it, 5 STAR RATING!!! We're definitely coming back and will bring friends and family when in town bc it's just that dang good :)
