It has been that way at Cabelas, Bass Pro, even at my local mom and pop gun shop. Either they never got the word at rural king, just don't care about the law or they will still run a check if you....... Well, lets just say.... Look a certain way. Every-time I have been there I see at least one employee that looks like me, the first time behind the gun counter; so I will give them the benefit of the doubt and just say for whatever reason, these folks just want the extra work of running a background check. I have been spoiled by the new law so this was a little disappointing and 5 or so minutes of my life I will never get back. At the end of the day, another good deal on a cheap budget gun and I will probably be back at some point or another.
