The one-seater restroom is typical for this size of convenience store, but the unusual part was that there was a sign that asked us not to flush the toilet paper (but to place the used paper in the trash can), as if I was in a third-world country or something. Well, I flushed the paper anyway & it was just fine! This is Texas, not a third-world country, people. Either fix your plumbing, or stock up on more biodegradable toilet paper.

At one area they have gasoline pumps & a short distance away are the diesel pumps with moderate space for big rigs. Fuel prices as of 7/26/2024: Regular Unleaded Octane 84 = $3.20 Extra Unleaded Octane 89 = $3.50 Supreme Unleaded Octane 91 = $3.80 I didn't have to deal with any employees that day but there is an office building with some sort of dock to the east. During working hours, there is someone from whom to flag down and buy propane.

The gas pump was fast on June 20, 2026. Lots of space between pumps for oversized vehicles and trailers. Some of the cheapest fuel in town: Regular = $3.70 Plus = $4.10 Premium = $4.40 Diesel was also available just not at the pump I used. Women's restroom was mostly clean, but the sink was a bit slow draining. Convenient location on the way to Plains, Seminole or Lubbock.

The reason this gas station-convenience store sucks at 3 stars is because of its vicinity within the local high school. Because of its vicinity, every newbie kid driver with a car paid for by mommy or daddy is blaring their speakers with subpar music while their naive loser passenger friends trash the place out and yell unnecessarily at irrelevant s***. Oi, am I getting old... Lol. Seems like people get in and out quickly, though. I just can't stand the usual clientele here... Full of drama and lacking in authenticity and rectitude.
