When i parked i noticed the employee sitting outside on a bench smoking and texting on his phone because i parked in the stall directly in front of him. The employee watched me get out of the truck, walk inside the store. I assumed the employee would snuff out his cigarette and put down the phone long enough to come inside to help the customer that just walked in the door, but that wasnt the case. I went inside and stood at the counter for five minutes waiting and he never did come inside. In fact, the employee never got off the bench until he saw me walking back out the door to leave. When i exited the door he decided it was time to get up and go inside. Correct me if im wrong, i assume this guy is being paid to do a job not sit outside smoking cigarettes and playing on his phone. Im being paid to be at my job on time which doesnt include wasting time standing around in U-Stop waiting for your employee to decide if he is going to do his job or not. I appreciate that cigarettes are expensive and no one wants to waste them. However there is no reason you cant snuff it out and then finish it once the customers are gone. But dont expect that a customer is going to stand around waiting on you to smoke an entire cigarette and finish having a text conversation or beat your previous high score on whatever game your playing. Youre being paid to be there, im not, show some basic respect for other peoples time.

They accept multiple kinds of fuel savings cards such as their own brand ScoreCard and the Russ's Market Community Card. The location is great.
