Men who from wide experience (which is what results from serving farmers, who could roll up in you-never-know-what) take on a service request with the practical experience as well as a willingness to do what will meet their customer's needs without overdoing the process... is that I never left feeling hustled, which was how I felt at times in big-city service shops. Polo Sales & Service epitomizes the we-can-probably-fix-it attitude that resulted in great value, especially when compared to much bigger shops. In fact the only drawback here is the fact that farmers show up early and often, so the wait is at times longer than city shops that have bigger staffs and more lifts. Great people. 5 solid

I had an incident in a parking lot which they came out unloaded one trailer off of another took my load after the wreck trailer re-loaded it onto the first trailer then took the trailer and loaded it onto the second trailer to haul back home. Terrible service. I called at 2 am to get a tow and they said it would be about 30 minutes before…read morethey could get to me. About 5 minutes later they called me back and said they didn't have a truck to come get me. I clearly woke him up and he just didn't want to get out of bed. Why have a towing service if you don't want to do the work??? I gave the lowest rating and that was more than I wanted to give because it wouldn't let me leave it blank.

Some catch my fingernail and are into the paint. There are also areas that did not get covered since the skid plates were not removed. We choose to do it in the car, cause this is not the cleanest gas station in the world. And for some reason still smells like smoke even though it's been illegal to smoke inside for years! This Shell station seems like it's in the middle of nowhere, but somewhere in Northern Missouri…read morebetween Des Moine and Kansas City. This "Truck Stop" also has a restaurant on premises (Red Bird Diner) which looked pretty busy when I stopped in yesterday for gas. I guess this place is a hit with the rural locals. Shell has more modern stations out there and judging by the number of pumps, there sure were a lot of diesel nozzles available. On the gasoline side, I was one of 2 or 3 other cars. One was from Iowa with a cute Lab in the back, while another was from Wisconsin and decked out in Packer's gear. I had to go inside for a receipt, which I found to be a bit dark and tchotchke homey. Anyway, the bottom line for me was that I filled up the tank, topped it off, and was able to return the rental car at the Kansas City Airport while it still read full. I'd like to say that this was good planning on my part......

He was willing to hop in his truck and trailer and come get me - and then took me to the nearest uhaul location 40 miles away, and see me off. Primarily a Polaris dealer, they're definitely oriented towards the farm and utility market, with a large showroom and large shop for repairs. I can't speak to price but Rob was straightforward and they even invited me to come with for lunch across the street.
